I am in a situation where I found a good niche name, but I am confused to get with the order of registration...

Its understood that top three slots go to :
1. COM
----- should there be .CO here -------
2. .net
3. org

Whats next : Is it .INFO, .BIZ, or the recent .XYZ
Can you share your valuable on this the order in which I can go with

In order to be helpful, it's important to note that everyone has their own opinion. .Com is clearly the top, and .net follows closely behind it.

The rest is somewhat subjective. More time is needed to see where .co and .xyz is headed. Short .co and pronouncable .xyz has been selling well.

.Info used to be associated with spam/scams, but it has made a remarkable turnaround. But in order to make a profit in selling .info names, you need to do your research.

.Biz is a bit harder to sell. It picked up around the CHIP craze. I wouldn't bet on it though. Most business professionals abhor the phrase. So, you might be safe away from it.

.org is a professional TLD and is well respected. But making a buck with it is rather hard, unless you have a really good domain.

Overall, if this isn't confirming and adding a tad bit to what you already knew, you should stick with .com and .net. :)

I would take .co and .xyz as top after .COM, .NET and .ORG will take the slot if its the best name

.US and .ME are rather subjective, if there are real good names

I agree. The current market seems to prefer it as of now. :D Remember to keep your .co's short though.
