Pool.com and Pheenix.com

Hi everyone ..

I have completed 6 years with Pool.com and Pheenix.com and to be honest in my experience with them

Pool.com catches one time !
Pheenix.com catches one time !
Wow in 6 years one time won only, why they not improve their service or get a partnership with strong companies

You can't be 6 years with pheenix and say what you say.

Before pheenix lost all their registrars they were actually pretty competitive, especially for .orgs and .cos .. and that was just ~3 years ago if I'm not mistaken.

Note that the domains I was after at the time were highly sought after so it wasn't that I was backordering unwanted domains.

You are 100% right for the last 2-3 years though

Pheenix is a scam.

I bought crypto.pw for $30 at auctions and got an email saying that it was a mistake the name was never owned by Pheenix... Fun fact, almost all names at the time where not hold by them...

I got a refund to my account and tried to register some domains and it never worked! I have set many backorders and it also never worked! I did HAND reg some domains that pheenix was not able to backorder.

Pool use to be awesome about 8 + years ago.. then they just stop working.

Pheenix was always good for the less popular extensions but they were never a player.

I think they were stronger 2-3 years ago. And Pheenix was inside the top 5 domain backorder company.

Phoenix used to be great when they operated on a first come, first served basis, allowing only one backorder per domain. I caught a few good names and actually sold two of them for thousands.

I guess that business model was not working for them, which I may fully understand, given the fierce competition, such as Dropcatch and others.

I have not used them four a couple of years after they changed the model and increased prices.
