Is it me or is polurnet down? All my sites are down and so is theres, so obviously cant contact them. This has been happening for the pass 2 days they just randomly dont load, if it does load a blank page shows up or it asks me to download the file.

If it asks you to download a file, that means they are trying to re-compile their apache with php/asp/jsp. Although, i have read about polurnet outgages in WHT today:

Thanks, but its truely annoying when you have clients and such and you dont even get a warning...

Perhaps if you made the effort to look at the homepage and forums, you'd notice there is an ongoing migration: http://forums.polurnet.com/index.php?showtopic=705

The migration is being made to stabilize what is known as the Bismarck server, which also happens to be where our main polurnet.com site is located. No other clients or servers are affected.

We have not received a single ticket from you, even though our support system is online 24/7 as it is located on a different server: http://support.polurnet.com/kb ... certainly that has not been down ever, so why are you not contacting us there??

You've done awkward threads like this in the past without sending tickets or attempting to contact us first... in what century will you decide to use the official contact methods? :td:

That thread is from 2 years ago, is that "today" :-/ :td:

Ok how am i suppose to visit your site if i cannot access it? Because its impossible. And how the hell can you say this is awkward? I simply asked to check if it was from my end.

I got onto your forums the once. It told me i had to be a current client. When i was in the process of signing up, your site cut out again.

And how can you say ive done awkward threads like this before?

And as for you support thats open 24/7, well am i suppose to remember your support link? surely thats a good thing...

It's awkward because you haven't contacted us first, by email (surely you remember that one, just support@?) or a ticket as Morph suggested. The thread also creates the gross misconception that these isolated server issues somehow means other customers' sites are affected; in fact, only a handful on this particular server are, which makes up no more than 10% of our customer base.

Secondly, our site is mostly accessible, with only intermittent timeouts; I know because I've been on it all day updating the forums and I can see other visitors logged in too. If you see the blank screen sometimes, just refresh the page and press "continue" if there is a POST data question; this resolves it in most cases

Anyway, the performance will be coming back once the migration is over and the new server takes over. If you need help registering on the forums still, let me know via PM and I'll be happy to help.
