Poker Site Logo Contest -- $30

We (calven and myself) are looking for a logo for a texas holdem multiplayer poker site - LowRakes.com. Ideas for the logo include: playing cards, red-felt playing table, cash, chips, or anything else fitting of a casino/poker website. As for colors, we are open-minded, but we are keen to "Microsoft" blue, navy blue, and/or dark green.

Competition open for 1-2 weeks, or until we see a logo we like.

Right now we are just looking for a basic logo for a preview website, business cards, letterhead, etc. Eventually we plan on incorporating it into a header.

Feedback:

gio~logist -- I like the fact that it's vector, but we're looking for something with more of a professional look.

squarexdesign -- We're looking for more of a logo that could be used on letterhead also - not made for solely a header. Also, maybe focus on one thing to use in the logo (ie. cards, chips, etc) and go with that instead of multiple things.

DN Tycoon -- Those are our two favorite submissions so far. I'll let you know if we think of any changes.

As co-owner I also like DN's design the best so far. That is definately the type of design we are looking for.

I was also thinking maybe a poker chip in place of the "o" in L"o"w rakes would be a nice touch. Who knows...just an idea. Don;t know if it would look good like that.

100% vector and custom-made (the poker chip took a while to get the perspective right, but I hope you like it). Can be supplied in .jpg, .gif, .eps and .ai formats.
