I found *****tokens.com domain for handreg, the singular form *****token.com is already registered but not for enduser, it belongs to domainer.

My question: in this case, wich one is better singular or plural?
    *****token.com
    *****tokens.com

Plurals are often underrated, sometimes trading at a discount or overlooked by speculators.

For all its limitations, Estibot does a not horrible job of comparing singular and plural, often valuing the plural above the singular, e.g. Token.com ($168K) vs. Tokens.com ($513K) or Single.com ($458K) vs. Singles.com ($598K).

Specific to your Token-related project, for me, it comes down to use-case. If you are planning a site where users can find out about multiple cryptos, the plural is not a compromise name and fully logical for the use-case.

Thanks, but I didnt mean excatly the price.
I mean if gramatically better use tokens or token?
For me plural is the correct form because we talk about all specific tokens and not about the unique one of them.

It largely depends on the use-case.

A site for dating would more likely be "Singles" where singles meet as they don't want to be single. The singular form is their non-desired states, whereas the plural form acknowledges a shared status.

By contrast, for Apple, the plural form would not have worked as well, though both are grammatical, just as you could use how a software company could call themselves Plum or Plum tree but the plural fails as a brand.

In other words, brands tend to work better as singular. However, if your site name is descriptive, most times plural will work fine.

PM me if you want to discuss specifics off the record.

Well, I just have a list of ***tokens.com where most singular forms already registered but not developed, and mostly owned by HD, so I was wondering because for me in this case the plural form is the best, but HD own just singular.

Hard to say without knowing what the other keyword is, but plurals in domains it depends on the word:-

    In my opinion:-

    'Games dot com'
is better than 'Game dot com'

'Cars dot com' is better than 'Car dot com'

'Hotels dot com' is better than 'Hotel dot com'

    'Airways dot com'
is better than 'Airway dot com'

i usually dont bother unless i can own both singular and plural. In some cases either may hold more value - but its a case to case basis depending on the use of words

keep in mind, an enduser may want both and having them listed by 2 people, they will have to look at buying both. so if their budget was $2k total for a name and HD is selling theirs for $1800 - then you are getting the scraps ($200) for yours. if anything at all.

Singular is definitely better but like @Kingslayer mentioned it's hard to say without knowing what the other keyword is. Anyways I wish you the best. Hope you make a right choice ✌

I also have 1 "****tokens.com" because the singular was already taken.

When I have to make a decision like that, singular versus plural..the first thing I do is ask a expert..I put both verbs into a search engine and let Google decide..
Rarely have I seen similar results...

If the domain was just Token.com, i would say the plural Tokens.com is way better since it encompasses all tokens.
For Keyword+Token domains, if the keyword is an adjective then the plural might work but, if the keyword represents a specific industry/market or a noun, then the singular version is more valuable since it establishes brand exclusivity and commands sole authority for all tokens in that space.

domainala.com AND domainsala.com BOTH are available.....

but I just bot domainurl.name and somehow feel I MUST HAVE a .com corollary -

closest being domainurlz.com - does that count ?

The below thumb rule may work but not mandate!

Singular keyword + Plural Keyword ;eg Apartment + Rentals = ApartmentRentals - Makes sense
Plural Keyword + Singles keyword ; eg Apartments + Rental = ApartmentsRental - Makes sense

But plural keyword + Plural keyword= ApartmentsRentals - Does not make sense

    Hope it helps!

Plurals of nouns are generally better than plurals of adverbs :)
