I'm in the process of creating a JSON api for geo targeting.

It would help greatly if you were to visit:

http://percd.com/test.html

The page should return a country code. It's supposed to be the country that you are in. Please post back and let me know if you got accurate results. Many thanks!

Thats the same I got. Apache is not able to handle this.

I believe this error is due to shabby free hosting and not my script...

I've started a similar thread on another forum, and not everyone gets the 500 error. I will have to try this on more reliable hosting I guess, but in the mean time I would really appreciate if anyone else will give ti a try~!

I just went direct to the domain name and then clicked on test.html
and got this

In the tab it says foo
and on the page it says CA - if that's for Canada, it is correct.

i believe the 404 error is because you ve posted the wrong link:

while it should be:
http://percd.com/test.html

on a sidenote second link shows my country code without any problems

D'oh! Right you are!

Others have reported 500 errors and THOSE are definitely due to this temporary hosting. The 404s were my fault, thanks for correcting me!
