As you will see, I have limited (i.e. very little) web design skills...but I'm not sure if I need to hire a pro given the subject matter of the website. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks -

The site itself seems like a good idea, however the design really needs work. Hiring somebody to design it for you might be a good idea.

Its seems clear from feedback that the design needs work. The site is not generating any revenue...nor do I have plans to do so at this stage. I can allocate $300 initially to improve the design.

I think that the idea is good, but ideas are a dime a dozen. Once others think my idea is good, I will feel more comfortable establishing an appropriate budget. Right now, $300 will have to do.
