Please help.

hi guys,
my computer is cyrix 233 with 2.1 gb hard disk,via motherboard,64mb sdram.
i use adobe photo shop mainly but my computer always shows some error or it get hang.i am trying to upgrade my computer to pentium4 or amd which will be fine for graphic work.
but the problem is i dont have enough money to upgrade.is there any site or organisation which gives or donate computer to the needed.
please help.

the sad thing is, thats better than the computer i had at the beginning of this year :P
anyhow, try saving up and purchasing stuff off of ebay. plenty of people have problems like a harddrive failing, and then decide to simply buy a new pc. you should be able to do decent upgrades on your system for about $100 , otherwise you could get a good new pc for around $400 from bestbuy/circuitcity/etc

well by the looks of things, I think he's from india? so ebay wont work.
Also, if you happen to live in the united states, go out the first friday(black friday) after thanksgiving and buy parts for a new computer - everything is so freaking cheap. I built a computer that's a 2.5ghz 512 ddr ram good mobo nice case 80 gig hd 400watt power suppy and some good koolance stuff ALL for less than $200! I did this 6 months after I built my computer and paid $1200 after rebates (but yes, my computer is better than the other one, but the other one is one hell of a deal)

You can get a computer 3X that speed for $200 MAX. As mentioned above, go to ebay, or check out anandtech.com
