I R Nerd, Hear Me Echo

Ok, so i've been gone for a while. with Work, School, Girlfriend, Girlfriend Issues, Medication, and then finally Lack of Medication, I've had less and less time for my computer. But the main time consumer lately has been me planning for the construction of my new computer. I've always wanted my own computer, for only I to use, and finally it is coming closer and closer to being a reality. Last monday i ordered my parts from www.ncix.com (AMD 2500+ Barton Core, Soltek MotherBoard) and once those come in the mail (monday or tuesday) I'll be going to the local computer store (non-retail computer stores that is... Avoid retail computer stores at all cost) to pick up my case, Power Supply, Video Card, Ram, etc.. and then steeling a few things from this computer (CDDrive, HardDrive, etc...) and putting it together, that, and the fact that my last exam is Wednesday Morning, i'll be back up and running on a regular basis in no time. I can't wait. This new computer is gonna kick ass. I'm getting the GeForce Ti4200-8x which has Dual Monitor support, plus tv out. Plus, once i have everything thats nessesary for the computer to work i'm adding a TvTuner to it. Imagine it now, Me, sitting down at the computer, watching Television on one screen, Making websites on another, and keeping up to date with WebDevTalk and all the other forums on another screen. *Drool* My Nerdom will be through the roof.

I'm putting a 50x CDDrive in it, and a 40gig WD Harddrive, both stolen from this, my family's, computer. Getting the conventional 300watt PowerSupply with one fan... I'm eventually gonna buy that TvTuner, maybe a DVD Drive, or perhaps a DVD Burner.. gonna have to buy a new monitor, because the 15inch that we have laying around upstairs isn't going to do me for very long... Probibly use it as a Second Monitor... Hmm thats all i can think of...

Since the idea of me getting my own computer became more of a reality, all i've been talking about with people on my free time has been Computer stuff.
