You need to read a lot more about domaining before regging any more names

Try and stay away from .org when starting out, focus on .com while you are learning

Given the applications and the industries I think they weren't bad investments for resale?

They aren't going to be worth much, but surely more than reg fee?

If money can be recouped at resale and perhaps a little profit, these would still represent a good investment.

Yes you are correct. But always remember to include the time you spent searching for hand reg names that "may" possibly provide a small profit.

Spending 10 hours searching for that one name that made you $7 profit is really not worth it in the long run.

When I first started, I hand regged many names I thought would bring profit. To this day I'm still unloading most of them for pennies before renewal time.

You seem to have a good grasp on the industry from what I can see. Just be careful with the hand regges. It can get out of control fast.
