I think the names are self explanatory, but a Muslim consultant would be used by small and mega businesses, educational institutions, governmental organizations, religious groups, etc. to find out what practices, products, etc., are acceptable to the Muslim community. Obviously, the muslim community would also have their own uses for consultants as well.

Anyway, I would appreciate your thoughts on monetary resale value.

I have been offered $100 for the pair (end user). Considering the nature and size of the market, I just don't believe that is enough. Do you?

No not from an enduser. It would be a fair offer from a fellow domainer. Try to pump him up to mid xxx good luck

Im thinking end user minimum $750 for the pair. But I wouldn't turn down $600 on a fresh pair of hand regs.

Did the end user find you or did you solicit them? In my opinion if the end user solicited me the price is always higher.

I sent out about a dozen or two emails letting prospects know that I am interested in selling the domains. This particular one said he is not interested in using them for commercial purposes (whatever that means). I mean, it is still decent roi, but seemed short to me.

Just remember Buyers are Liars.

FaceBook recently bought a domain for I believe $1500 told the seller that they planned on using it for a personal blog.

I think unless you could use the cash I would hold out for awhile. Of course I did not make a domain sale during the month of December. But I have my Tout program ready come Jan 4th.

Good Luck

These name do have a religous use to them and not at all out of the relm that the person is telling you the truth. Can always roll them for 100 and you both can feel good about the deal.

A Muslim Matrimonial Consultant is the best $$ use of the name to me.

A muslim consultant can be used for the purpose of:

Media - making sure muslim tradition/ritual is properly portrayed in TV shows/movies, etc. Also to get a muslim perspective on news stories, etc.

Consumer products - to market correctly to the muslim consumer base.

Financial/food/clothing - so that islamic laws are not broken.

Marital - as was mentioned above.

Goverment/Education - for sensitivity issues when dealing with the muslim population.

It is a growing global issue. The following is an example:

Exactly my thoughts mm. If it were JewishConsultants-I am almost sure a Jewish person wouldn't want to use for business in this day and age. It's telling potential customers that consultant using this is prejudice in one way or another. You scare away other persons of different religions.

He offered $100? Take it to the bank my friend. I would have appraised those names at reg fee.

That's me being totally honest!!

I'm on the other side with MM.. IMO you should take a offer and run..

Thanks for the honest input. It is definitely valued.

But in all fairness, someone seeking a muslim consultant does not see the focus as prejudice, but as a way to be mulsim-friendly.

And correct me if I am wrong, but if someone is offering $100 for a pair of names that 'won't be used commercially', wouldn't it make sense that there would be people who would spend more for commercial use?

Thanks

Thats the decision right there, do you take the cash thats infront of you or do you gamble on the basis that someone else will pay more.....hard one to answer as a number of different questions have to be answered:

DO YOU NEED THE MONEY?
HAVE YOU HAD ANY OTHER ENQUIRIES BEFORE?
ARE YOU CONFIDENT IN SELLING THEM TO SOMEONE ELSE?

It would make sense that if someone has approached from a non-commercial pov then there will be someone in the world who would want to use them commercially....BUT...the world is a very big place.

Personally I would try to edge them up slightly and then settle the deal with them....IMHO

His offer has doubled, but I'm not sure I want to jump at it with the name so fresh this time around. Just being patient at this point.
