Please Appraise KetogenicDieting.com epilepsy treatment

I posted here many years ago about these names and everyone said they may be worth something if it ever takes off.

It's taken off, and I am asking for an new appraisal. Google trends link below.

I will gladly return the favor on an appraisal.

To save you the time in researching this, here are some quick things worth mentioning.

The diet is used as a treatment to pediatric epilepsy and cures it in 50 -70% of kids that go on it where anticonvulsants do not work.

The diet is used in body building when a body builder has to loose as much body fat before an exhibition.

The diet is used by people in general for weight loss.

There are many books, ketone testing supplies and even a movie call "first do no harm" with Meryl Streep.

This diet is the basis or root in most diets for weight loss. The atkins diet and other similar stem off from this diet as it is one of the original weight loss diets.

The only concern I would have is that your more likely to search for Diabetes than Ketone. Definitely an up tick in relevancy though so they're pretty decent names.

BUT

I doubt there's a domainer in this place that knows the value of these better than you do. Let's see:

Prior offer. Check.
Understand the name. Check.
Researched. Check.

I would have taken $4K, for what it's worth.

the reason i originally passed on comenting on your names is "KetogenicDieting.com epilepsy treatment" is not my idea of fun reading, not that your a dude.

KetoneTesting.com is nice and you will get a nice offer in the xxxx range again one day but the adwords ads dont knock me out on this. Which makes me wonder what kind of profit margin is on those strips. Goodluck

As far as cost the blood strips are over $5 a piece.

The urine strips are cheap but the units that test ketones by blood and those strips cost more.

$51.58 for a 10ct box of the blood strips for the Precision Xtra strips on amazon. These strips cost more than the device itself.

glucose strips are way cheaper. $34.99 for 100 stips for the same device.

Blood strips are more important for treating epilepsy to be more accurate. Some are the higher end glucose devices and some just do ketones.


I went to go buy the - version of ketonetesting.com some months later, so maybe abbott laboratories did.

ketone-testing.com just redirects to one of their pages.
