Places to advertise?

So, I'm in the process of setting up a content site, hoping to maximize PPC and affiliate revenues. Of course getting traffic is key. Does anyone recommend any PR* sites where I can buy an ad, say?

Specifically health-related would be best if that's possible. Any recommendations?

That is a good question... I have tried PR.com and PRWeb, had to dish out money for PRWeb but it seems to be the most credible of the bigger ones and i know they will keep the PR in their database.

PR.com was free but there aren't much frills to it unless you pay money for extras. All the other free PR sites were pretty dodgy - most of them aren't really free either.

Still would be interested in knowing of which ones are good and where to put the money for PR sites.

Someone on another forum has recommended text-link-ads.com ... it does look pretty good but obviously haven't tried it yet.
