Funny! but I had a searchking search engine site before google. I think around the end of 96 or 97. What happened to searchking? What happened to Google?

I remember using Google when I first started secondary school in 1999. It was pretty much what everyone seemed to be using at the time.

I still remember how painfully slow our internet connections at school were though.

I was using alta vista and yahoo....I still do pretty much...If google went belly up...it wouldn't hurt my feelings any...They have way to much control over indexing imo.

The I moved to High School back in 2003 (?) and they told us to use google in ict so it kinda grew on me.

But yeah, Google did look kinda cute! :p
