PayPal payments is a mess

Don't you just hate when someone pay you a big amount of money from a creditcard :td: and you have a personal account to avoid the heavy fees you get otherways. For example.. when I sell 12 10$, I buy 10 10$ and expec5t a profit of 20$. But the fact is that in the end the profit might be like 0$ or 10$ instead of the expected 20$. Just because some people can't pay with a paypal account but use some ****in creditcard :td:

Even if I would upgrade it into a premium account so I can take creditcard payments, I would lose quite the same cause the fee is heavy(especially if you sell 1$ links from a directory).. it sucks big time.

Although I agree it is quite annoying it is understandable as paypal have to pay the credit card processing fees. And in all honesty if you processed them yourself through a merchant account with a bank you would be paying not far off the same fees plus ussually a monthly fee to the bank.

Despite all evidence (real or imagined) to the contrary, p/p is still the most
viable payment system available.
I have heard all the horror stories, seen the threads, talked to the bitten,
but by and large, until someone shows me an easier, faster, more secure
way to transfer funds, I'll have to stick with p/p.

How can you start a serious biz and not accept CC payments, so many people depend on CC's to make ends meet these days, plus it also provides you with some added insurance when paying via a CC.

From what I have heard you can have both a Personal and Premier account. Countinue using the Personal one for small transactions and use the other only when required.

Yeah, but someone may pay with a creditcard to the personal anyway.

Besides, I think I earn a little bit extra by having a personal. But not as much more as expected.

I know this. I have rejected the fund by credit card. I told the payer I only accept the fund by paypal fund and he were willing to do.
