There are no others?
The reason that I asked initially was that I have around 300 decent 'keyword domains' that don't get much 'type in traffic' anymore.
I believe the success of Google has killed high volume 'type in traffic' -- hell, I even type "Gmail" into Google these days -- just to lazy to type gmail.com in the address bar for some reason. I've found myself typing Google.com in the address bar in order to search for XE -- the currency exchange website rather than just type XE.com in the address bar! Crazy, but I don't think i'm alone. I feel Google is so exact that it's almost made the address bar redundant.
Anyway, back to the point -- my type in traffic is about 5% of what it was back in 1999 and I feel in order to monitize keyword domain names you need at least to have those keywords in the 'Page Title'- 'Page Description' wouldn't hurt also - in order to get any kind of SEO underway.
I can't understand why NameDrive (the best domain parking company I feel) don't incorporate a feature where you can enter your own Page Title. Technically it would seem to be a simple thing for them to add on to their many excellent features.
For a long time I have felt this was an issue and to test if I was correct I decided to test my feelings out with a domain of mine (DublinLimoHire.com).The page title for this domain on NameDrive was 'dublinlimohire.com' and it was found by Google if 'dublinlimohire.com' or 'dublinlimohire' was typed into Google -- 'dublin limo hire' was listed as 424th or something using SearchEngineGenie.com.
So, what I did was went to Moonfruit and opened up one of those free flash sites and put 'Dublin Limo Hire' as the page title and also in the page description etc and low and behold up it comes now at number five position in Google for the search 'Dublin Limo Hire'.
Now I feel that if NameDrive were to implement 'Page Title' as one of the features of their system their profits (and ours) would go up dramatically - it's so obvious. Type in traffic will never be what it was.
On a side note I have changed the 'page title on the Moonfruit page to 'Limo Hire Dublin' as it's searched for more and wanted to see if it affected the position. Well, the search for 'Dublin Limo Hire' has not changed (still fifth' but a search for 'Limo Hire Dublin' is now coming in 18th or something from 327th last week so Google does take notice
By the way I only have one link to DublinLimoHire.com and it's on another Moonfruit page that I recently set up and moved from NameDrive to Moonfruit so it's not being ranking because of any links.
