Parking and Sedo + others

Iv'e noticed a few posts relating driving traffic to parked pages.

Answer is simple.

Create one page site for your domain. Put some kind of ppc program on it(Adsense etc)

List your "site"(will now be listed as live website) with sedo and send as much traffic as you want. Better still send heaps and you will have better chance of selling. Do this with all your domain names and seo them so each one links to the next in a sort of webring. Gets you page rank.

This way you have control, not SEDO.

I do this, but don't list on sedo cause my domains make me money this way. More than covers cost of rego per year.

You also need to be careful you are staying within the TOS of adsense.

Dear evilmick,

onzie_007 is right, you have to be careful with Google AdSense TOS. I thought about doing similar things, but it really takes a long time to build original Web content that may be seen by anyone. I did it with some of my domains and didn't want to invest too much money/time in it. AdSense results are not worth it... less than $1 in two months on that Web site.

Alternatively, according to Google, if your site generates more than 750,000 pages views per month, you can apply to AdSense for domains.

O.K, just to clarify.

My post was in response to allegations that Sedo bans people for advertising their parked pages in forum signatures.

Method I outlined merely enables you to send traffic to your site without breaching Sedo TOS.

As far as Adsense goes, just used them as an example. Now you have me curious.

What I think you are saying is that if I build a one page website targeting market relating to my domain name, sign with adsense, their TOS states I can't send bought traffic to my webpage. If this is the case I'm surprised they are still in business. I send bought traffic to my sites all the time. How else do you make money??

I'm glad you mentioned that! I was going to list some of my domains in my signature, but some of them are parked at Sedo. Phew, I'm glad I didn't. I didn't even think about signatures...
