onlinelife - You just don't have much traffic. I know we both expected .me domains to have more traffic than they do today, but they really are much worse than I expected. And don't get me started on .mobi or .asia domains either.

You have to have traffic to make money.

Donny.... I thought of a three more suggestions:

1. Ability to build email lists that we can sell. There is big money in that and it is totally untapped in the parking realm.

2. Many parking co's do automatic page rotation to find the best converting layouts, etc... but what if we could do it manually, meaning we pick out, for example, five layouts with five different pictures and then the system optimizes what we selected. Most of the present systems are kinda' stale b/c they don't include the photos or only one photo, like DomainSponsor on the former and Fabulous on the later.

3. Alternative keyword suggestions to our main entered keywords, each with info. such as bid prices and number of advertisers for each, essentially packaging what some of these stand-alone software co's do with the Parked.com system. Domainers use these software downloads to buy domains but I doubt many use them to optimize their current domains. It would be oh-so-cool to have that intregrated and would surely increase earnings.

Yesterday my clicks were worth .24 ea, today they are worth .32 ea.
What changed?


Also what proves to be more profitable, several parked pages or a couple good developed sights with adsence (or simalier program)?

Trina, you must be new to Parked, welcome aboard.

Domains stats are updated today for yesterday's "estimates". What is showing today is what you earned (after the asterisk next to your earning disappears).

The second question is one of trial and error. You just don't know until you try. I can say that a site with Google Adsense can take a half a year or more sometimes to gain traction. Google puts your new sites in its "sandbox", before really giving you any credit for your efforts. Sometimes though, a parked page or developed site takes off immediately in regards to Google/Yahoo and they do index fast - but I don't know why this happens.

zenon - This means that your ip has been blocked, for one of many reasons. Follow the steps and your ip will be unblocked. It's not your domains that are blocked. If you have a domain that is indexed with a captcha screen please let me know, as technically that's not possible, but you never know.

Donny - whenever you get around to reading this - I'm trying to edit images in the custom area, and I keep getting that pop up about there being secure and non-secure elements on the page - I don't really remember it doing that, is that normal?

What you ought to do is open a Parked.com account, place them in the account , and then check your Parked.com stats against your GD stats, or your own server stats for clarification.

Besides, wouldn't you prefer to make some money on those domains instead of giving the traffic to GD so they can make the money? ( I am assuming you don't have a parking account already with GD)

i have account on parked but not use it in the last 6 months,
as i know parked allow only type in traffic so i dont wanna get in trouble
and risk my account, in the last 6 months i used those domains for affiliate marketing and cpa , now some of them get traffic but i dont know from where and if its type -in , all i see its blank referrer, so type in traffic should show a blank referrer?

Because we have been a little agressive on keeping the bots out, yesterday I did a little purge to all some of them back in. It takes about 24 hours for us to get everything back under control.

Date and time would be pretty cool, yep. Shouldn't be too difficult with PHP.

I'm seeing a column in my Dashboard for 404's? How does that work? And will the next page also have them so we can see what domain it is? (How do we get a 404 anyway?)

Wow - while I was typing that, a column for searches showed up too! I can't wait to see what happens the *next* time I check it!

Hmm, whatever it is, it broke the google desktop widget from Domainers Edge. Interesting...
