Hi Donny,

As it is now, as far as I know, no domain parking service providers provide email accounts?

If Parked could provide say....3 email accounts (limited to say...10Mb each) for each parked domain, then it would be great. Then we could setup account for support@mydomain, billing@mydomain, sales@mydomain.

Perhaps some of us are already making use of the Custom Content area to sell items. Customers could then email to support@mydomain or sales@mydomain instead of emailing Parked, or and email account with domains (ie gmail, hotmail, yahoo) that doesn't match the domain name the visitor is at. We'd also be able to setup our Paypal to receive payment at billing@mydomain

I'm building a new domain listing site and need a way to display parked pages as if they're my own ...

Seeking the ability to customize the templates more (as in the actual layout), and more importantly the ability to customize the header part; many others have requested that too.

I've only sold a few domains lately - sales goes in cycles, but also due in large part to many perspective buyers not realizing my domains are for sale despite the email us link in the header; putting the info at the bottom would help a bit, but many people, upon seeing a parking page, won't scroll down - thus again, the ability to customize the header part would be a big help.

Powerup - We are about to change the sales form, so you don't see any email address.

Is the TQ display acting up again? Mine hasn't updated since march 20, as it just shows 'no score'. I don't mind being stuck at 10 - but still curious!

Roy - No the TQ chart is working fine. You don't have a TQ score.

Is Parked good for Indian domains?
When I applied previously, I was rejected.
I have some good traffic domains

Powerup - It depends on where your traffic is coming from. But on average it's about 100 clicks a day for 7-10 days. Just give it some time.

Donny

I get over 200 clicks/day for many months, and still dont see any traffic score...

Shoval - Most of those clicks have to go to Yahoo. Yours currently do not. That's why you don't have a score.

He mean the national flags next to the name of each country on the traffic analysis page under "Breakdown By Country"

Oh..... I was thinking of something else...... like individual domains being flagged.

One of my worst ever too even though my RPC has risen a bit lately back to what it once was and the CTR is not to bad either.

Unfortunately, I have to say my traffic has been really low, even though I don't buy expired traffic domains and look for mainly generic domains.

I'm beginning to conclude that this is mostly a bad recession - regardless of what the economists say. Traffic should be much, much higher - especially when I look at the traffic this time last year and considering all the quality generic domains I added in 2007. My traffic levels are not too much higher than this time last year, yet they were much higher in July, Aug, Sept., etc....

I predict this coming summer's traffic will be insanely low and put a whoopin' on many domainers anywhere they park their domains b/c the traffic will come to a crawl with gasoline prices, food inflation, dollar pressures, etc.... Consumers are going to freeze up and I think many of us are already feeling it. But it has just started.

And some of those people would don't want to pay $3 or $4 a gallon in gasoline in the U.S. will join the crowd to shop online for better prices on goods. Instead of going out to the movies, the might look to the web for more entertainment. People forced to conserve their gas stay home more. And those that stay home more will spend a % of that time more online than they usually are. Perhaps fueling ecommerce and whatnot. maybe higher chances for some hits on parked domains and more clicks.

I don't know, just a thought. A theory. Could be, and probably is complete garbage. lol

Could someone comment on how well gambling related (poker etc.) names
do at Parked? Is RPC very low or decent?

Thanks...

It makes perfect sense to me. I think people will be spending more time online, but will they be browsing or buying?

Not garbage...
I agree with people doing more online to conserve gas.

browsing or buying...
as long as they are clicking. ;)

Exactly...

All one has to do is look at how on-line billpay has taken off; many people will do anything to save even the cost of a postage stamp.

And if there are more terror attacks, or even the mere perception of increased danger (ie. threats against malls, etc), that will encourage even more people to shop on-line, including for products they may not have considered buying on-line previously.

With all that said, parking in its current form has a limited future.

Custom content parking looks promising, but to do it right costs money and personal hands-on work - blindly mirroring content from elsewhere, such as wikipedia doesn't cut it; SEs penalize sites that do that.

A more realistic approach to improving revenues are more custom-looking parking layouts that are frequently updated with a fresh apparance - parked.com pages basically look the same now as they did back in August when I first started with Parked.
