Holy Crap!! Got my final numbers from yesterday and they were cut in half!! HALF! I just don't get it. Just when things are looking good, I get beat down. I think I'm going to throw up now.

Todays stats are looking strong for me... so far, nice high CTR 50%, decent rpc... Yesteday was a bit off (low CTR) but still waiting on final numbers...

When viewing my reports for the daily earnings, is there a way I could view the domains in alphabetical order?

Tried searching for the answer here through the Parked thread with no luck.

My RPC has been lower the last few days but one thing to consider is what domains are getting clicks? I have been running a lot of Arbitrage on Adult names at parked so MY RPC is lower because I am getting hundreds of clicks paying .06-.08 each but only 20-30 clicks on domains paying $1-$3 a click so it takes my RPC down to .30 where it was at .80 but I am feeding more .07 clicks than I was before. Not sure if this applies to you guys lower RPC or not. I dont care about RPC if my $$ earned are increasing each day week month etc hope that made sense

Thanks for your post but most of us who got hit hard was on RPC for
specific domains not on average RPC. My tech related domains got smacked
really hard - RPC for specific domains down 20-40% literally overnight.

I agree that if one is making money that is all that matters - I'll gladly spend
$200 a day in arb if I can make $300 a day at parking. The problem is that my arb on these tech domains was based on their average RPC over time.
And it so happens that these domains were making me $80-$100 per day.
Now, I'm losing money on these domains.

The question still remains - why did RPC tank so badly overnight? Usually if
RPC drops for a name it's a gradual decline over time and one can plan
for that.

Some of my RPC has went down on higher PPC domains as well. my structured settlement domains went from 8-10 bucks a click to below a couple dollars so I went and found other domains to fill the revenue void. Sometimes I still see one of those big clicks on strctured settlements though. Donny has said TQ dosent mess that much with revenue so not sure what it is.

Still don't get this. Got 1 domain that i have bought ads trough microsoft adcenter.

I have been billed for about 60 clicks, parked shows about 10 for the same period.

A shame really, since the domain got good ctr.

Is this common? If so I suppose i have to recalculate all my campaigns.

Parked Stats

A simple suggestion to everyone who feels the need to complain daily that the updating of stats lowered their earnings 10%, 25% 50% etc.
Sign on to Parked, click Account information, click my account, under account settings click dashboard estimates to no. Voila! no more estimates only actual numbers published once a day

Seriously the problem as I see it is Parked is a great company and Donny a top notch Proprietor but the revenue stream is so very un-predictable there.

For example let me share with you one typical domain I have there over the past month.

One simple domain - fairly consistant traffic and clicks but at Parked RPC fluctuates from $.99 per click to $.02 per click even over one day? Wide swings in revenue at parked wish there was something I could do to ensure more $.99 clicks and less $.02 clicks??

Glad to hear someone say this. I'm not as knowledgeable as some on Parking companies, but Parked seem to me to be a well run company with more openness than others. Their interface is excellent, the stats and development tools are very good, and the staff are doing a great job imo taking care of and communicating with customers.

That's what I'm seeing too, wild fluctuations on a daily basis. And this is on domains that get hundreds of clicks/day, so the sample size is large enough to discount someone just clicking on a low paying ad.

Yesterdays stats have now finalized for me and I'm down 33%. One of my main earners which usually pays around 25-35c has been cut down to 12c.
Yet the same domain at my other Yahoo based parking provider paid 36c. (I pointed the DNS to them half way through yesterday so I could directly compare.)

I love Parked & the excellent service but I'm going to have to move the bulk of my earners back to the other company because I can't afford to lose 30-40% of estimated revenue each day when I'm paying for the traffic.

I have a feeling (i am by no means an expert like netmeg or varon), but as soon as MS acquires yahoo ALL arbitrage will be a thing of the past. MS seam to be very much against it.

Don't know if anyone has posted this, but it looks like yahoo's board will reject MS's offer.
