can someone explain this to me:

whenever I try to enter a 2-3 keyword phrase, the "parked" system will only pick ONE word but not the whole term. Just examples: "seattle apartment" "india jewelry" "information security" etc.... the system would pick just the second letter and ignore the first one.
how do you make it consider the whole phrase?
Their system picks up only one word. Actually there is no way to optimize properly for "india jewelry" or "seattle apartment" - master keyword will be either "seattle" or "apartment". Perhaps "seattle" will give you more appropriate links. Try to use "Seattle" as main keyword and "seattle apartment" in title + description. You need to play with some combinations to find out which of them gives you best content.

try "Video Games", it will optimize it for both words...

im telling you...

popular two word terms can be properly optimized

Out of curiosity what time is the big game?. Does half the US come to a halt? Seems like the Patriots are favorites. In that case I'll root for the underdogs Giants, like jeffoverman.

I'm going for the underdogs as well

my friend told me the odds on Giants are like something 1 to 54

is that true? if its true, i'll put down $1,000 on Giants ...

One more thing...

Are the stats finalized for Feb 2nd? The * was not showing for the 2nd, but now i see it again....

Mine are not finalized yet. I think it's too early for that. you'll have to wait another 5-7 hours to get finalized stats.

the revenues usually that you have BEFORE the finalization, any chance that those revenues are less after finalization?

shoval - you need to give us some better examples than the ones you provided. Those keywords will work fine. Our system is actually kind of simple. If you put in "what was fuzzy thinking when he registered this domain", our system is going to think that is crap and only use the longer phrase that it knows, which is probably domain. If you put in "new england patriots champions" our system doesn't know that phrase so it will use the best phrase that it knows which is "new england patriots". Another example is some people especially people with adult domain like to do something like "keyword1 keyword2 keyword3 keyword4 keyword5 keyword6", in many cases all we will use the the keyword to the right or keyword6. Now there are many cases when we just don't know what a phrase is so sometimes it's best to have your account manager add the phrase to the system so that everything will look right.

So we currently can optimize up to 15 words in 1 phrase. But we don't currently handle multiple concepts per domain. So you can have something like "new england patriots and new york giants".

Gil - The games stats at 6pm EST, the US will shutdown about 2 hours before hand. But for many it will start way earlier as you have to start cooking and in some cases you have multiple parties to go to. I have 3 parties to go to today, I've been going gumbo, jambalaya, and red beans all morning. Unfortunately my son has to get his tubes removed from his ears tomorrow, so his surgery is at 5:30am, so I won't be partying too late tonight.

If I understood your question correctly, YES, your revenues can drop or they can go up after finalization.
As an example, for January I had 21 days go down and 10 days go up after finalization, but bear in mind that January has been a strange month for many peaple with so many fluctuations. It's been like a roller coaster ride. Lets hope February settles down a bit.

BTW Donny, hope the operation goes well with your son. Best wishes!

Donny, my account manager told me that your system takes only one word from phrase. So, actually page will be optimized for 1 word or 1 phrase if system recognizes phrase?

John Doe - I think they meant one phrase. So if you put in a long phrase we only will use one keyword phrase from that.

Varon - No TQ, means I don't have an exact answer. I've asked and tested many theories, but overall it doesn't look like there is much if any discount.

Thanks for the answer Donny. Wow.. this thread moves so fast, I missed the thread where you had replied. My RPC is slowly stabilizing now. Even had some $8 + clicks.

On another note, each time I post some $ value on my clicks, I end up getting 10-20 pms asking for the keyword niche. So let me make it easier this time by mentioning that the niche is "education".

Friends,

I need some help.

Yesterday I set up my arbitrage campaign at goog and everything was working.

This morning I logged in, saw all the keywords are now "in-active", and showing this message for all keywords:

------------------------------------------------------
increase quality or raise the bid to $10
------------------------------------------------------

Well, there is no way I can raise bids to $10 each keyword as I then I will being paying out of pocket may be $9.80 for each visitor they send me.

Q1: How can I increase the quality of all keywords?

Q2: Can I just delete all keywords and re-enter only 10 or so highly relevant keywords? Will that work?

Q3: What are my other options? What can I really do to re-activate the keywords without paying $10 for each?

Gurus: Please help. I am new to this arb learning.

Please either post here or PM me.

Your help is highly appreciated.

Thank you very much.

Regards.

Hello Donny !

I am new to domain parking and have studied different domain parking websites for knowing that as a whole which could be better and finally I understand that its parked.com .

I am planning to buy 10 domains for parking at parked.com and need some information even about some basic issues.

Please guide about following matter :-

What kind of domain names are easily accepted at parked ? ( e.g in some companies health related domains are easily accepted and in the others casino related etc .)
And while selecting new domains what other measures should be taken to ensure that application is not rejected by parked staff?

Which domain extensions are accepted at parked ? e.g com , info , net , org ?
And among accepted ones which are the favorite ones ? e.g at some parking sites .com is the favorite one .

Does it matter at parked.com that from which company domain was purchased ( such as yahoo, godaddy or any asian company etc )

OR parked.com is only concerned with the domain name ?

Thanks and regards.

Indeed very good questions! Some of my domains are having the same problem and i have yet to figure out if that's a "deadlock" once you're classified as having to pay more or if that fluctuates depending on adding content, etc.

I could post a long response on Adwords (and I have in other places) but 1) I don't have that much time again and 2) Part of my living is made by consulting, so I don't give away the store. but when dealing with Quality Score issues, these are things to look at:

- Separate campaigns for Search and Content

- Multiple ad groups with very small groups of highly focused keywords in each ad group

- Use of all three match types, broad, exact, and phrase, even if you have the same bid for all three

- Start slowly, only add a few keywords at a time until you've built some positive history. You need to be VERY patient.

- Make sure your titles and meta descriptions are also relevant to your keywords

- Look at your page, see the types of ads that are running there, and write very focused text for your ads that describes the page.

- 2 Click pages are probably better than 1 Click, if you are adding content.

Arbitrage with Google AdWords is very challenging. Your best chance for success would be to familiarize yourself with Adwords thoroughly before you start, otherwise you'll be starting from much further back than scratch, because you will have negatively affected your account from the getgo.

It *is* possible to bring campaigns, ad groups and keywords back from "Poor" to "Great" - sometimes I've done it, and sometimes I haven't. But it's a lot harder than just doing it right from the beginning.

Netmeg, thanks for discussing this topic. I consider myself a rookie when it comes to adwords and arbitrage parking. Ive been focusing on a few different issues, and bottom line, still a bit confused about the "Poor / ok / great".

Are these factors affected by Meta Tags? Content? Keywords? If its content, how much Content is appropriate enough? Is it about heavy keyword usage in the content? Your thoughts are appreciated! (Rep coming)
