I don't know if its just my account, but I see a significant drop in all stats today such as visitors/clicks/revenue for this time of the day.

That's a common problem nowdays

My finalized stats have gone up 15% today.

28% down for me. No rhyme or reason to individual domains RPC. Up one day down the next, but overall trend is down.

What determines if you see any results under "traffic analysis" for a specific domain? I though it was only if the visitor has clicked on an advert. Is their another metric that captures that info (i.e. search term, path, etc.) sans a click?

Hello.


Curious if anyone has some tips on optimizing your page for Parked.com. Do the description/keywords help that much? I'd think a bit.

Also, I find their "keyword" thing kind of tricky. Some phrases I type in have nothing to do with what im looking to "set" as mykey word for my site.

How often are the stats updated? I just optimized one, but I have yet to add a meta description: http://www.heartanalysis.com/

Is this kind of what most of you guys do?

I have a domain for a specific brand of computers and laptops with decent RPC. I've
noticed my CTR has been declining so I've been randomly checking the ads throughout
the day and notice that they change from time to time. Is this supposed to happen?

At times I getting ads for generic computer and laptop components/parts which I really don't want!!

The whole ad thing is supposed to work in a somewhat auction type fashion. I would never expect to see the same ads on my pages from hour to hour, let alone day to day. In fact, one of the things I try to do is check the ads from time to time, to see if I'm suddenly pulling less focused or relevants ads, which might require a keyword tweak.

I'm not as familiar with Yahoo ads as I am with Google - it's not well known or advertised, but while advertisers are not as yet given the option to keep their ads from showing on parked pages themselves, they *can* call up their Google rep and say that they don't want any of their ads showing on ANY parked pages, and Google will take them off. Maybe Yahoo advertisers can do the same.

(btw, I can't seem to log in to Parked just now - get a file not found error for secure.parked.com)

Thanks for that. I knew that Parked would self optimize but never knew that
ads would rotate that frequently.

As for advertisers being able to opt out of parked sites - lets hope it stays
a not too well known fact

So many things to comment on at one time.

HiSoC8Y - TQ Scores are updated once a week on Thursday. And only if you have enough traffic, which is usually about 100 clicks a day. But if you join on Monday don't expect to have a TQ score on Thursday, it usually takes at least a week.

notlikeyou - The traffic analysis is purely based on the clicks that we have from surfers on your domains. If somebody comes in and types in "polly want a cracker" and clicks out, it will show up their when the stats are finalized the following day. The data is currently available for 5 days only.

biohammer - If you like discoballs.com you should see some of the others we own. We have a very specific policy in our company, any money that we make on our own domains must be put back into buying more domains. So we always to get buy some decent domains.
