Hey. Talking stats. Do you what would blow all of us away is a stat update mailed to us every 15 minutes or half hour or 1 hour. My crackberry addictions and thumbs get tired at times and a heavy mobi user. I love seeing clicks and views even if I am in the kiddy pool and it takes forever to log into parked.com from our phones.

So an email goes out and when and shows us which names have been updated with views, ctr, earnings per click, total revenue and revenue off that name. How amazing would this be and my thumbs can be recouping some lol

Donny know you think mobi is bubble to burst some and that's my impression but how you get that parked.mobi name to you guys and go after the owner lol. Unless you guys own it and its parked elsewhere?? and have

Email feature and updates sent via email for us to enjoy

Your hitting dinner with the wife or whoever and your walking into the place to eat. You have 40 bucks on you and your crackberry goes off while hostess walks you to the table. You look at your stats and you just made xxx amount of dollars say 25 bucks since the last update. You whip out the credit card and keep the wife happy with her wine expense and you get that nice new york steak. You then do a cheers to parked.com and donny crew for making that extra 25 bucks in an updated stats email that came over. How cool would that be. Assuming the estimated stats and final numbers next day don't change a huge downward trend lol. Either way, this would be smoking and to the people that are obsessed with stats and numbers and there parked account

Or your on a date or with wife and your stats come in and numbers suck. You have the wife buy you your steak meal or girlfriend.

OMG I just logged out of parked.com panel after like 5 days....

I have a few domains with over 90% of the traffic coming from US. But for some reason, when i moved these to parked, the stats arent showing ANY traffic from US. They only show visits from other countries.

I used a couple of US proxies to visit these domains but these visits didn't get added in the stats.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Could someone tell me how your ctr is when you insert your own image and weather your seeing a better results?

I have not done this but I have a few print supply names and don't like the images that are offered.

i cannot believe i read almost this entire thread. and one thing i have to say is im so surprised i got accepted based on the crying of not getting accepted. the 10 domains i put up all had the same words just different tld's and all newly registered a few days before. also i used a hotmail account? :P

i got accepted by sedo too but i never confirmed the account yet. ill stay with parked as i learn from my mistakes with domaining.

Little comparison:

I put one of my domains that is already serving as a website to parked.com for a day. With adsense (non-smart priced account) it averages .11 cents per click over the past four months. With parked it finalized at .13.
1,210 949 $120.67

So, discounting the only one day trial, we can see that parked pays a great revenue share to its users. It could also be that yahoo pays better than google for that niche which is as you can see on the low end of the ppc return.

With the update I lost 50 clicks on that domain Donny! I'm pissed! LOL

I may try this with more website/domains. If anyone has tried this please post your results.

jeffoverman - One thing to understand about me, is that there is no subject that I will not comment on. I will talk about everything. The email every time the estimates are updated is an interesting concept, but I'm not sure who effective it will be since we give you the option to do it yourself if you want to via xml.

prateekj - Please send me some examples, because our traffic analysis seems to be working fine.

I'm working my way through this enormous thread to collect tips and have a lot of work for the future to more fully optimize my sites at Parked.

I'm a bit confused though regarding which is a better use of custom content? Artwork or content (like a short article)? Or both?

Also, I'm thinking about the following strategy (for future use after I've finished optimizing) and I want to make sure it is permissible as well as determine if more experienced users would think it is effective.

Write two short articles: one to place on parked site and one for article marketing. For example, say I have a parked family fun site. I could write an article (for article marketing) that suggests why families need to spend more time having fun together. Then in footer include hyper link with key words etc. I would then add article on parked family fun page offering a couple tips for ways to have fun with your family.

If you mean the Alternate Traffic Destination, that's how I've done it. It should be a complete URL. The word DOMAIN in curly brackets ("{DOMAIN}") is a placeholder to use if you want to take some additional action based on the domain name:

http://www.example.com/DoSomething.php?site={DOMAIN}

Then you could have "DoSomething.php" take some action or vary its output based upon the domain name...
