Overture rating and search engines indexing

Websites being equal....

I understand the overture rating will be different with different variations on a word.

When you have numbers/words/partial words before or following the words indexed for search engines will the websites picked up with the same weight? a different weight? or not at all?

Also, are .com and other extensions given the same weight for search engine page rank?
