Overture Keyword Search ?

When do they update this "thing" that so many people use to evaluate domains?

I've not seen a change on the words I've search for going on 3 months now.

I thought the big selling point was that is was the search numbers for the "last Month".

However, I am left to conclude that either it is never, rarely or in some long term incriment updated

OR

that the domains I'm searching haven't been searched even once in the past three months (which is hard to believe since it IS showing a number of searches already AND I've searched it myself looking at overture).

What's the deal?

1) How often is Overture's Search Tool updated?

2)I haven't seen a change for almost 3 months.

3)Still trying to understand why Overture is so influential on the value of domains considering point 1 & 2

I prefer this over Overture http://www.digitalpoint.com/tools/suggestion/ also gives OV #'s as well.
