Now we can all resume domaining without worrying about the future.

Barack is about to produce Mr Bin Laden's death certificate in long form... or face 2 years worth of questioning and more legal wrangling.

Donald Trump is said to believe that he thought Osama has been dead all along and wants evidence that this only just happened.

Edit: Apparently he was living in a mansion in Islamabad paid for by US Taxes...

Something smells fishy here... Look at this picture.

The news reported the photos that are floating around are not legit and have been around for a long time.

I imagine we will get to see the real photos at some point.

So..... who gets the reward?

Lets just hope, as BFT mentioned, that this doesnt act as a catalyst to even more problems.

Hoping for Peace,

So..... who gets the reward?

Someone in secret in Afghanistan, Pakistan or nobody.

Washington (CNN) -- Osama bin Laden was buried at sea from the deck of a U.S. aircraft carrier because there was "no land alternative," a senior Department of Defense official said Monday.
"When there is no land alternative, Islamic law dictates that the body be buried within 24 hours, and that was the basis," the official said.

No land alternative. Isn't that one of the issues that started this whole thing to begin with?

He was a Saudi national - the US asked the Saudis and they didn't want him buried there. I can certainly understand why they said "no thanks."

I've heard a couple people (not here) question why the US observed proper Islamic burial procedures - can you imagine the outcry if they did not? Entire process was probably well documented, even if they're not making anything public. There's bound to be backlash regardless, I'm sure they did what they did to try to minimize the fallout.

Allegedly decorating his head with a bullet doesn't count then?

Spare they would be more mad at an anti Islamic handling of the body then actually killing him.

They went back in time with satellite pictures of when the mansion was built in 05, figured out the complete layout of the home so the raid would go smooth.

So what? He "is" dead now. Will the terrorism end? No. Will the people who suffered from their action survive? No. Will the oil cost less than life? No. Will we be free from constant monitoring? no.

Just another political gameplay.((

More government propaganda, this will just be used as a catalyst for more warfare and bloodshed. It doesn't really matter whether this is genuine or not and it is hard to really believe anything that we are told by the various governments.

He's dead, but still terrorism is everywhere:/. Hope that ends as well..

About possibly releasing images:

Brennan also said that the images could jeopardize similar operations and intelligence sources in the future. But the significant concern appears to be that releasing the photos--especially because of their gruesome nature--has the potential to further inflame al Qaeda sympathizers and serve as a rallying point for jihadis. Bin Laden is said to have a gaping head wound over his left eye, with brains and blood visible where a bullet penetrated his skull.

Indeed, a senior U.S. official told CNN that the picture in which bin Laden is most recognizable--taken on the hangar--is also the grisliest, so it couldn't be published on the front page of a newspaper.

Anyone else find this terribly ironic...the timing? Obama's approval numbers are way down and in much need of a boost. Don't get me wrong I think it's good that we have one less madman in the world but this seems all too convenient for the political front.

Maybe it's just me and my paranoid warped thought process but it almost seems like someone had a golden chip held in reserve for the last ditch effort. Anyhow that concludes my rambling for the time being ;)

I'm too lazy to check but I was told that Hitler was announced dead on the same day in 1945 or whenever. It's too convenient having the announcement of the death of the most hated man of the 20th century & the most of the 21st occurring on the same day. I believe it was a political move on Obama's part. I'm thinking we could have done this earlier in the year but Obama wanted to wait for the anniversary of Hitler's death announcement to announce Osama's own.

Aren't conspiracies wonderful .....they found him, they shot him, they disposed of him. His funeral was much more gracious than his victims

Australian slang for goodbye is 'hoo roo'

.......hoo roo bin laden
