I've previously spoken about the Extreme Optimist, Moderate Optimist and Pessimist.

I have identified another opinion. It appears less sincere.

The best analogy that I can make is this... Have you ever heard about someone who purchases 1 share of stock so that he/she can leverage an objective - for instance an annual shareholder's meeting.

Buying a share of stock enables a voice. It's just a hard pill to swallow the sincerety of the concern.

Thread after thread shows a pattern at Namepros. Interesting topics followed by extreme, extreme caution.

I think that it permeates so deeply, so persistently that it should at least be a topic of conversation.

JeremyP,
Your "clarification" was a thundering success! A great thread that now gives the whole "Lottory" fiasco a run for it's money! Well done!

Hopefully only once D-:

Why certain folks spend so much time on this .mobi forum, given their skeptical view of .mobi, is a mystery to me also. I mean if I thought .mobi needed 12-15 years to get anywhere, I know I wouldn't be wasting my precious time here obsessing about it now... I'd spend my time gardening or playing horseshoes on the beach.

When you put it that way it is so practical and clear.

I knew it....Scandiman is Jeff, and Iborocca too!! And Iborocca is Scandiman, and Jeff is Iborocca. Does that mean I am Scandiman?

OMG, my head is spinning....

I know what really happened to Kennedy. I also know where Jimmy Hoffa is buried...

Oops, I think I was supposed to keep that a secret. Oh well :)

I'm glad I'm not the only schizophrenic here. I thought this thread was about me because I ventured to the dark side. You know dot TV.............

I think I saw you over there, LOL. I spent so much time there I have 100s of emails and lots of PMs to reply to... got sidetracked exploring .TV land... actually found some treasures too. :D

I'm a dot TV fan as well, though I'm not a fan of those ridiculous premium reg fees. Ouch!

most importantly... regarding this thread... if you don't like someone's comments, simply ignore them... it makes this forum so much more enjoyable...

ever since I put Labrocca & Jeff on ignore, I've been able to be more productive... instead of trying to figure out if/how I should reply (Don't feed the trolls)

it's very obvious to figure out when someone is being insincere and polluting every thread they can...

for those of you that don't know how to "ignore" someone (hide their posts), simply click on their user name and you'll see a link in the middle of the page to IGNORE them.

very simple & effective.

I don't like the renewal fees either, but it will only force me to develop the sites faster or find quicker ways to monetize the domains.

I couldn't pass up: AC.TV
Living in the DC area, we like to go up to Atlantic City for the weekend and most people I know commonly refer to it as simply: AC

kickass 2 letter domain, that is a great Geo domain and will be fun to build (hotels, boardwalk, Casinos, Shows, Concerts, Beach, Shopping, nightlife, expos, etc)

If I could've bought AC.mobi , I would've bought it in a second... in fact, I think I saw AtlanticCity.mobi on EBAY last year for 6 or 7 figures, so that's out of the question... and there's no way I could ever afford AC.com, so I'll be content with AC.TV :D

already got substantial offers and interest in it too. but if you think .mobi is a risky play (smart, but risky)... .tv can be a very expensive play... obviously developers can enjoy success in both of the .mobi & .tv "ecosystems"

i've seen some pretty cool .tv sites recently. Current.tv (Owned by Google, I think) and Fuse.tv come to mind..

I'm straying away from the focus of the thread's topic. Sorry guys :)
