Here is the situation:
On june 22 I bought C/a/p/i/t/a/l/S/e/r/v/i/c/e/ com domain name from @linuxfreak
The transaction went through DAN.
Seller pushed domain to my onlinenic account.
The OnlineNic support confirmed that I a'm the owner, here is the chat support fragment:
Jack 5:42:54 PM
It is fine now and you have full right for the 100% management of the domain.
after that I released funds at DAN.

Just today I got a message from OnlineNic telling me that they removed domain from my account, they don't explain anything.
So, did anybody have similar experience? What to do in this situation?

P.S. @linuxfreak, may be you know something?

I was not the original owner of the account but i bought it so i became the owner. I don't have any information about how the original seller has aquired the account.

You're basically saying that you knowingly purchased a compromised account. Did you not at even one point in that transaction consider the consequences?

The seller should be stripped off his upgraded account and possibly be arrested.

Are you accusing me for something? Please do not make assumptions based on not reliable informations.
This isn't a particularly helpful way to respond to someone who's just lost a domain they bought. Whether 'accused' or not, you should be helping to get to the bottom of it and remain professional.

I hope that you're both able to get this resolved together.

Peace.

I think we should not point fingers just yet, it's not clear what happened. But I should mention onlinenic's lack of communication, this is quite disturbing.

WHOIS shows the registrant is in Russia, and that @linuxfreak is in Izmir, Turkey.

If he bought an account containing domains as he said, and not the domains themselves, I'll leave it at that.

When I bought the name and seller transferred the name, the OnlineNic support put my data to the whois because I had trouble doing that.

Have you tried asking how much is owed? If it's just a renewal or transfer fee it may be worth it to offer to payoff the balance if you can get the name back. Then transfer it out asap.

So far they told me that
We don't know the amount. He chargebacks payment he made to a auction provider. Hence we reclaimed it
To my question which provider is that, they did not reply so far (silence in online chat).

But this is kinda strange: I would definitely notice if this name went to auction, but I did not. Has anybody seen this name at auctions?

Ok, I got an update:
So, onlinenic claims that
The seller chargebacks payment he made to a auction provider. Hence we reclaimed the name.
The auction provider is snapnames
Do we have snapnames representative here on namepros?

If anybody knows snapnames/web.com representatives here, could you please invite them to the thread. May be they will be able to provide some info. Thanks!

So far it looks like;
1) @linuxfreak bought onlinenic account which had disputed domain, from a seller who got that domain from snapnames.
2) linuxfreak then pushes that domain to @anf in a domain trade.
3) snapnames notifies that they had chargeback to onlinenic and they confiscate the disputed domain.

Now we need to know the timeline of the above events to get more clarity here.
If what @linuxfreak says is true that he bought the account, the intention of the seller was to dupe linuxfreak. There might be more such names in the account.
