Being a newbie to the domain name trading game I got reeled in like a fish when I got those phishing emails from 'Alex Wargacki' of the Online Brokerage/Domain Explorer domain appraisal scam.

However, after nearly 3 weeks since I purchased those 'domain appraisals', Plimus have just forced a full refund from these crooks - Plimus obviously want to stay clear of any chargebacks from credit card companies.

So if anybody else here has fallen for this domain appraisal scam;

1. contact Plimus immediately to insist on a full refund
2. get your credit card company to initiate a chargeback
3. keep the dialogue open between you and the scammers to prevent automatic closure of the dispute, until Plimus step in and resolve the issue with a forced refund.

If you need any back up and/or support just drop me a line.

I may have my money back but I'm still gonna chase these guys through the FBI - I intend to make the lives of these scammers uncomfortable for a long time yet.

I have just been subjected to the same scam except my situation is totally different and honestly it's a big pickle. Please Valance, I am unable to PM you because I need to post more posts, I signed up here to try and receive some help!

I would REALLY appreciate some help right now!

Feel free to email me at [email protected] and I'll do what I can to help get your money back from these toe-rags.

Cheers.

Be sure to keep the dialogue open with the scammers, otherwise Plimus will close it down if you don't reply within a certain period of time (about 2-3 days).
