Yes, just after few days after she surprised the judges in the famous program " Britains got talent".. Susanboyle.com get's traffic about : 50 visits / day.( as estibot)
Also, most of extentions are taken now!
What's your thoughts?

any way, i think Susan boyle is a very special case, and she's stay a good singer for looong time.. IMO.

Regular people (non-domainers) tend to distrust domainers who go out and immediately register someone else's name after he or she has become famous. So every time a domainer squats on a domain (non-generic), the field itself gets yet another black mark against it, and we all suffer for it. I can't tell you how many times I have to explain to friends and family that I'm not a squatter because they lump us all with the true squatters who reg TM domains and celebrity names.

"It's just business" just doesn't fly anymore. I, for one, want to develop and keep my good name, which is necessary if one hopes to conduct business and instill trust in other domainers. And it's more than business concerns that keeps me on the straight road. It's the "do unto others" rule--how would I feel if someone registered my name and then made a bundle of money off it? And then had the audacity to offer my name for sale for thousands of dollars?

I would hate it, so why would I want to do that to someone else?

I simply wouldn't do business with someone who can't see that swiping someone else's personal or business name for profit is just plain wrong and sleazy.

Me thinks you are being a little overly optimistic. She will have a nice little run for 6 mos or so and then maybe sing for a living for few more years but nowhere near multi-platinum.

Whoever said the .com was lucky or questionable - the person in 2002 legitimately bought the .com because they're a painter named SusanBoyle. The person who bought SusanBoyle.biz or SusanBoyleBlog.org in 2009 right after they realized she was an awesome singer is what people are talking about.

PS if the website traffic counter is any indication, probably looking at about 115,000 hits since stardom.
