Numbers game and 5 letter.com's

Hi all,

Is domain flipping a numbers game, my thinking is the more you have the higher the chance someone is gonna want one?

Premium domains sell them selves but the not so obvious or desired domains is surely just about numbers?

also am I right in thinking that as the value and scarcity of 4 letter.com's goes up and on will 5 letter.com's start stepping up in value? And In turn become scarce in time?
