I was able to pick up these two names in the 5th day of EAP for a great price. All the highly targeted keywords like news and porn sold in the 2nd day of EAP for around $3,400 each. Please share any of your .now, and your thoughts on the potential future. For some reason, I prefer this extension to .deal that also is in EAP.

Yes. the seller was smart. 2k is the price of the UDRP. also Apple didn't have to pay for lawyers. "pay and go away". Don't recommend anyone do this though.

Sold chris[.]now (Spaceship) and michael[.]now (DomainEasy) on the same day.

I bought 50 first name .now domains for a project (is.now) which I have since paused work on so I am now selling the first-name domains for $1k each.

The Spaceship domain search stats are pretty interesting, e.g: if someone searches "ben" on Namecheap the top recommendation is the .now. I don't know if that will have any impact on awareness of .now or increase my sales.
