I was able to pick up these two names in the 5th day of EAP for a great price. All the highly targeted keywords like news and porn sold in the 2nd day of EAP for around $3,400 each. Please share any of your .now, and your thoughts on the potential future. For some reason, I prefer this extension to .deal that also is in EAP.

I just built kidsplay.now - showcasing this as a use case, not for sale.
Feedback appreciated.

Are there experiences for Geo names in dot .now?

I just took Crete .now for standard fee.
Crete is the biggest Greek island and a preferred tourism destination for many Europeans.

I just visited it, and I truly love the concept! And, importantly, another interesting site live on .now, now.

I know nothing about web design and UX, so I will let the technical aspects to others. As for me, I liked it, congrats!

From a visual perspective, the flashing/growing glow is a bit much.

Naah, better than no sale, especially with 18K renewal.

I am amazed by people buying 15k premium-registration/renewal names from the registry for resale purposes, what kind of margin do they expect to achieve?

Let's say it cost 16k to register (as per porkbun) and now it sold for 25k. Atom takes 25% for 5-50k sales, right? so after that it's 19k. Then taxes and so on but let's ignore them for the sake of the argument. So it was a 16k bet to make 3k, and on the flip side you'd lose the whole amount. Would you take it? I know I wouldn't.

Investor or end user you mean? I hope it's an end user who will quickly build something on it.

Now if it's another investor, that person should be tested for drugs.

Tangentially related: Linear, a widely respected software company that is trend-setting amongst startups, renamed their blog to "Now" in the last couple of days, and added in other content, like changelog, press, YouTube videos, customer stories. Now pages have been around for almost a decade now on personal websites but this is the first time I have seen a business add one.

I don't have any insider knowledge for what motivated Linear to make that change but it is pretty interesting, it could indicate that Linear believe that telling their customers what is happening now is important, that "now" resonates more than "blog"?

I don't think this is particularly actionable for domain name investors (they haven't bought linear.now) but I find it quite interesting, given Linear lead the market. I expect to see many startups introducing "Now" pages on their websites in the near future. Perhaps growth in the appearance of "Now" on websites will drive people to consider the .now TLD when looking for a domain.
