I was able to pick up these two names in the 5th day of EAP for a great price. All the highly targeted keywords like news and porn sold in the 2nd day of EAP for around $3,400 each. Please share any of your .now, and your thoughts on the potential future. For some reason, I prefer this extension to .deal that also is in EAP.

So you're selling outdoors.now for 103.50? Are you sure it's in your account?

Same applies to the fish.now domain, but that one is priced at $517.50.

rdap doesn't show any registration for both of these domains, and in DNS, there's no delegation, either.

Last night to rebrand
Hi @newna.me ,

I am not sure what exactly is going on here, but I think there might be some issue with your Registrar, because what you are stating doesn't match real-time Icann Lookup results. Oudoors.now reads as registered a few minutes ago.

Perhaps you should check with the Registrar.

I just contacted spaceship. Look one post up. I didn’t see that email originally

@newna.me It gets really confusing, because you said earlier "because I also own".

They’re in my account, as far as I know I own them.
You're not the registrant yet. This is not like Atom where you can submit names without really owning them.

Other registrars show these domains as available, as well.

I was just trying to help, @newna.me . If I am understanding correctly, you followed the usual registration path at Spaceship, names were added to your portfolio, but not really registered because of the extra verification steps (KYC) required, of which you were unaware until today.

I hope this is solved soon, and wish you good sales!

Indeed, you are correct and have been helpful. I'm referencing the individuals that bring nothing of value to the forum and just want to stir sh*t up.

If you claim to own domains in order to trade them for tackle.now (where it all started), you must actually own those domains. If you don't consider that important, that's another red flag. In the future, try to gain a better understanding of which domains have been actually successfully registered.

If you would take 2 minutes to read the posts you would see that I do own them.

I have a portfolio just over 2500 names and have been buying and selling names over 2 decades now. I am absolutely positive whoever owns tackle.now could have found several somethings in my portfolio that they would gladly rather have, so I took a chance to see if that someone was a NP member seeing as they're obviously a domainer and they had only owned the name a few days

Now we have an additional 20 off topic posts because you have a hard on for trying to prove something that isn't there for a reason I have yet to understand.

Here is my shortlist of .now names that I had tackle on and thought I had purchased. As you can see I bought a decent amount of these names on here and some are available to reg. I didn't pull any of this out of my ass and have been a member here since 2013, I'm not a newb trying to hustle a name off of someone.

If anyone wants to reg any of them feel free...I also share all of my shortlists for available hand regs with other domainers here whenever I have finished registering and had already spent hours combing through available names. I thought I owned tackle already, turned out I didn't, I asked if anyone here was the one that bought it, and here we are now...for what exactly?

edit: to actually add to this conversation, I think canvass could be a really solid name for when elections come if anyone wants to get that one. I couldn't bring myselg to buy anymore .nows

Hold on. These (2) domains appear in your account, but you're not yet the registrant. Your registrar still needs to complete its KYC checks, and until then they'll continue to show as available in RDAP, DNS, and on registrar platforms. Could you clarify which part of this you believe is inaccurate? Thank you.

That was me. Apologies. I am under the impression Atom did not accept unregistered names for premium submissions. May I ask, are you a trusted seller? That's the only way I know to get a name uploaded without verification (and since you didn't own this name, I can't think of another way to bypass verification). If you are a Trusted Seller that would explain how you were able to submit a name you didn't own. If not, I'm lost for ideas.

I still wonder why you'd submit a name you want to develop for premium submission. It leans into making your original post less believable. I hope you can see that perspective.

Bummer you had a verification issue with Spaceship and missed their email. That is the reason the names never hit your account. I always pop into my accounts post verification to set up NS, etc - but we all get busy and obv this step can (in this case) was missed. With large folios accidents like this are bound to happen from time to time. Frustrating, but guess it's a cost of doing business.

I still stand behind my first post. Consider you may have had more success coming here with a humble attitude. Something like "I messed up! I thought I registered Tackle.now for my project, but due to my error I didn't. I even started building the project thinking I had the name secured. Argh! I have a few alternate names I could use, but I prefer to use tackle. If someone here owns it would you be willing to help a fellow domainer? I could trade you one of my coms or other TLDs that are equal or possibly even greater in value to you. Or I could offer to 2x your investment. Would surely be a huge help if you could consider it. Thanks! 🙏" Or something to that effect.

If I received that sort of email, I'd be inclined to consider it thoughtfully. Instead your post came across as demanding and dismissive. And when people receive contact that reads in that way - they tend to dismiss and demand back. I'm not saying your contact was intended to read that way. And perhaps you felt it proper. But I can tell you how it read to me (and apparently others). An old lesson I learned "you never know what you said, til someone tells you what they heard" seems apropos here.

Hope you're able to finish your project with another excellent, concise, .now. Look forward to seeing the live site. Please show it to us once it's done

It’s a hobby site so I’m not willing to pay end user pricing, but I also own safety/now / lien/now / outdoors/now / fish/now / hunt/now alarms/now cre/now among others - which if I’m the owner I’d gladly trade tackle for any of the above.

I'd actually trade Tackle for Safety if I owned the former, if that is what you're offering. Safety.now is >$500/yr premium but it could very well sell for $25k-50k in the first ("free") year.

Considering these:

Scholarship.now
Pollution.now
Amnesty.now
Coverletter.now

I see a five letter.now sold for between 20-30k on Atom. Not showing in name bio.
