Sharing some stats in case it helps:
Had 4 names approved at Atom for premium today. This brings my total to 5 approvals and 2 denials.
The 5 approvals were all single dictionary words.
Three 4Ls, one 5L, and one 7L. Domain scores were 7.6, 7, 7, 7, & 6.7.
All were approved with suggested pricing in the range of $11k-$12.5k with the highest domain score getting the highest suggested price.
The 2 denials were 2 word combos (6L & 8L) with domain scores of 7 & 6.7. I appealed both, but based on what I see so far, I imagine those appeals will be denied regardless of the strength and TLDs taken. I may even pull the appeals for now. Seems Atom is primarily sticking to the strong dictionary terms and I can't blame them. Therefore, I will not submit 2 word combos until some more .now sales happen.
I have a batch of 5 action verbs in review (4L, 5L, 6L, 8L, 10L with domain scores of 7.6, 7.6, 7, 6.7, & 6). Action verbs fit .now quite well - so I'm interested to see if they are approved and at what price (in comparison to what has been approved so far). This will help me better understand what Atom is seeking.
I will also submit another batch of short single dictionary words. I find the pricing to in an acceptable range for all the names that were approved. I was worried about the pricing earlier in this endeavor, but Atom is being reasonable imo. Which means, they will get the opportunity to market many more of my names.
I wonder if approvals will change as saturation occurs. Although it seems to me that is a long way off.
One thing I'd like to be able to see is the domain score before submission. Currently we are only able to see it after. I asked Atom to change that as it'd be helpful. Darpan has previously said domain score is an estimation of approval rates... so I see no reason not to show just that stat for all potential premium TLDs. We don't need the ai's estimated pricing, just the domain score. Although looking at the domain scores, it appears to me that they just go by length and nothing else. So perhaps I can just ascertain the estimated score myself.
