I was able to pick up these two names in the 5th day of EAP for a great price. All the highly targeted keywords like news and porn sold in the 2nd day of EAP for around $3,400 each. Please share any of your .now, and your thoughts on the potential future. For some reason, I prefer this extension to .deal that also is in EAP.

@phaethon I just now checked the price of new registration on Dynadot & Namecheap, and as far as I can see, a new Standard .now on Dynadot will cost You $39.99 & on Namecheap it would cost You $38.98. The cheapest is Porkbun at $31.39. This is as per My research. Please do Your own research as well. Hope this helps…
So all the .now domains we have purchased from $16 to $19 can be accepted as +/-100% profit :xf.love:

I always use domainnamestat.com to look at current registration stats. All other sites are behind typically on the reporting number.

Current registrations are at 6,582 domains and counting!

Painful to buy a .now today at regular pricing via Dynadot. That Black Friday special and NCs deal prior spoiled me. But it was a 4L in the gambling category so worthy reg I thought

Sharing some stats in case it helps:

Had 4 names approved at Atom for premium today. This brings my total to 5 approvals and 2 denials.

The 5 approvals were all single dictionary words.
Three 4Ls, one 5L, and one 7L. Domain scores were 7.6, 7, 7, 7, & 6.7.
All were approved with suggested pricing in the range of $11k-$12.5k with the highest domain score getting the highest suggested price.

The 2 denials were 2 word combos (6L & 8L) with domain scores of 7 & 6.7. I appealed both, but based on what I see so far, I imagine those appeals will be denied regardless of the strength and TLDs taken. I may even pull the appeals for now. Seems Atom is primarily sticking to the strong dictionary terms and I can't blame them. Therefore, I will not submit 2 word combos until some more .now sales happen.

I have a batch of 5 action verbs in review (4L, 5L, 6L, 8L, 10L with domain scores of 7.6, 7.6, 7, 6.7, & 6). Action verbs fit .now quite well - so I'm interested to see if they are approved and at what price (in comparison to what has been approved so far). This will help me better understand what Atom is seeking.

I will also submit another batch of short single dictionary words. I find the pricing to in an acceptable range for all the names that were approved. I was worried about the pricing earlier in this endeavor, but Atom is being reasonable imo. Which means, they will get the opportunity to market many more of my names.

I wonder if approvals will change as saturation occurs. Although it seems to me that is a long way off.

One thing I'd like to be able to see is the domain score before submission. Currently we are only able to see it after. I asked Atom to change that as it'd be helpful. Darpan has previously said domain score is an estimation of approval rates... so I see no reason not to show just that stat for all potential premium TLDs. We don't need the ai's estimated pricing, just the domain score. Although looking at the domain scores, it appears to me that they just go by length and nothing else. So perhaps I can just ascertain the estimated score myself.

All Amazon products.
Thanks, wasn't aware of that. Are these recent products or products that have been out a while. what was Amazons original plan for .now and has it changed ?

wholefoods.now is also reserved

Amazon loved to use "now" they had Prime Now for same delivery within an hour or two. Seems like they dropped that brand, and it's referred to as just same day or overnight delivery. I almost faintly recall a time when I seen a banner on their website that said PRIME.NOW

I find it odd that none of their reserved names are being redirected.

Seems to me Atom's search tech is getting better at inluding .now's. For example, I searched "wing" on the home page of Atom.com. It showed 1 to 100 of over 10,536 results. Result #74 (on the first page) was Wing now. I was pleasantly surprised to see a .now listed on the first page with so many possible results (even with the exact match type in). Obv, with an exact match type in like this, one would think it would be listed #1, but .now is a brand new extension and that may be asking too much currently. I'd imagine as sales flow in, .now will continue to move up the rankings.

Hello Friends,
Just found out that the domain name Sky.now is owned by Sky Group Limited ( which is a British Media & Telecommunication behemoth ). The website Sky.now redirects to NowTv.com ( which is a subscription based over-the-top streaming service in the United Kingdom ). However, if You do a “Site:.now” search on Google, the website Sky.now appears in the search results. I think this is great for the adoption of the .now domain extension. The fact that large conglomerates are using .now’s for their products & services is a great thing, and Sky Group is very well known ( as they have Joint Ventures with various companies in multiple countries in the field of Television Streaming )…

There is another reason Why I feel that the “Sky.now” adoption is a big deal. The reason is the fact that the “Sky.now” website is indexed by Google. If You do a “site:sky.now” search on Google, Sky.now appears in the search result. However, with other large conglomerates, this isn’t the case. For Example : Yahoo.now is not indexed by Google, however Yahoo.now redirects to Yahoo.com. Same is the case with NowTv.now which redirects to NowTv.com, but NowTv.now is not indexed by Google. Maybe there is a difference in the type of Redirect that these websites use in the above cases…

There’s another interesting thing that I found out about the website “Free-Now.com”. Basically, if You do a “site:.now” search on Google, You’ll come across the website “Free.now” ( which is indexed by Google ). Now, Free.now redirects to Free-Now.com… However, it’s not just Free.now which redirects to Free-Now.com. The domain name Taxi.now also redirects to Free-Now.com. So You can imagine, that this company ( Free Now ) which is a mobility App in Europe, is betting quite big on the .now extension. Also, the domain Free.now was registered on the 23rd of September, so the company must have had long term plans for this domain. However, I would have appreciated it more, had the company used Free.now as their main website page, instead of redirecting it to Free-Now.com, but that’s not the case…

Trending in the right direction. But it makes no sense why exact match searches on desktop and mobile aren't the first results. I'd be surprised if Atom ever has more than 2 exact match name results and placing them at the top in no way messes up their system.

It is the case for .com. That is, if you type a word such as "Spout" the exact match .com shows as the #1 result. It would seem to me, from a buyers perspective, that showing all exact match TLDs first would be worthy - but currently that isn't how Atom shows the results. Exact match being #1 is only true for .com - even for .ai, if someone types a keyword and the exact match TLD is avail, it was not shown first.

I put in a request to Atom to modify this - we shall see where it leads
