I was able to pick up these two names in the 5th day of EAP for a great price. All the highly targeted keywords like news and porn sold in the 2nd day of EAP for around $3,400 each. Please share any of your .now, and your thoughts on the potential future. For some reason, I prefer this extension to .deal that also is in EAP.

Just looked at Porkbun, Dynadot, Namecheap, Domain. All of them are charging greater than $110. Is this the new .AI extension?

I see the potential but the entry cost is vertical, I'll pass.

You must have happened upon registry premium priced names (which are $109 or greater).

Regular priced (non registry premium names) are $19.98- $39.99 (at NameCheap, PorkBun, and Dynadot). A bit more at other registries like 101domain, etc.

blackfriday.now fs $6500 (top domains). Was avail to hand reg for quite a while.

Doesn't appear to me this is how the the extension will be used. Seems more like action verbs or products/services.

I pulled the zone file for .now this afternoon. Many companies brand protection or not already have their domains. We are now just waiting for a huge marketing campaign from one of them or someone of similar size.

I think the question is who would the users be for Eclipse? Newsworthy eclipses don't happen very often. I'm not sure what Mitsubishi would do with Eclipse. There's free IDE software called Eclipse but I don't know how many people still use that and they already have the .org

it is developed in ~40 TLDs - which means many businesses find use for the name. When a name has this many TLDs and this many developed sites, I think it is a good flier - even if the actual definition of this verb doesn't readily give a nod to use. Being literal isn't required for a brand wanting a memorable, concise, dictionary word. Just has to be close enough... OP can peruse the 40 developed sites for ideas.

Whoever the buyer is, many congratulations to them… Chat.now is a really solid domain name. I read somewhere that Chat.com went for 8 figures usd, and was acquired by OpenAI as it currently redirects to ChatGPT.com. I truly hope that the buyer of Chat.now builds something truly amazing so that it propels the popularity of .now domains. I read one of the above posts about many large corporations registering their .now names, but currently they are neither redirecting their .now domains nor hosting any content on the .now site. I hope that this will change with time, considering the massive potential that .now domains have… The #1 thing about .now domains is the “immediacy” and “urgency” that these domains embody. This, in My opinion is in perfect alignment with the very ethos of internet - where We want everything immediately and instantly, be it news, information, communication, products & services etc… This truly sets the .now extension apart from other extensions…
