I was able to pick up these two names in the 5th day of EAP for a great price. All the highly targeted keywords like news and porn sold in the 2nd day of EAP for around $3,400 each. Please share any of your .now, and your thoughts on the potential future. For some reason, I prefer this extension to .deal that also is in EAP.

Nice four names, I think they are a bit low, especially Hotel and Trade.

Nice reg. Another plus is that the exact match TempoNow.com forwards to a live website (so someone else liked this combo enough to reg and forward it).

On the negative side it is not a verb nor is it something people want. Which is why there is only 1 exact match taken (for popular terms I like to get words where the exact match TempoNow is also taken (and hopefully in use) in multiple extensions). But it was a good reg overall for sure (imo)

I just want to add another point of view for these domains. Of course .now domains will be used as in "White Now" (Toothpaste advertising) where 2 meaningful words (or 2 words which become meaningful when they come togeteher as far as the 1st is a noun, an adjective or a verb; and the second necessarily "Now"). However there is another use IMO:

When you buy something from "Amazon" and when somebody asks "from where did you buy?", your reply is either "from Amazon" or "from Amazon.com". In branding we may or may not use the domain extension. For example a potential user for a domain like "ABCDEFG .now" can be the startup which names itself as ABCDEFG. If this company owners cannot find the ".com" extension of their ABCDEFG name, they will look for other extensions. At that point, the .now extension will be a potential solution for them not because of the meaningful combination of "Abcdefg .now" but because of the meaning "Reach Abcdefg Now" "Meet Abcdefg Now" "Contact Abcdefg Now" "Come to Abcdefg Now".

Currently if your name is "Margaret", you may not buy "MargaretNow.com" (which is currently available and Margarets did not think of such a use) However Margarets can now buy "Margaret.now" because this simple domain can be used to reach this specific Margaret, who differenciates her name very cleverly (in fact "her brand") from other Margarets.

I'm guessing they google something like "what are .now domains" "What is a .now domain" . Having hit search they probably click on or read the first ad at the top of the results page which from my search results is from Eurodns, it reads "The . NOW TLD provides developers, media companies, news organizations, and other businesses and individuals with the ideal name to host websites and email addresses. . NOW will allow companies and creators to provide up-to-the-minute news and updates about all kinds of content, products, and services."

Is this explainer good enough to give people the confidence to consider purchasing a .now domain , Is the suitability described above broad enough to cover most scenarios ? What could stockholders like us do to improve on the above?

2. Is the suitability described above broad enough to cover most scenarios : The “other business” part in the above description aims to do that, but I feel they should have included more examples.

3. What could We do to improve the above : I think We’ll have to further promote the extension on portals like Reddit. On Twitter I saw a few posts by selective individuals using the DotNow Hashtag, but those posts are very few. I firmly believe the success of .now extension will majorly depend on the scale and quality of websites that use this extension. We need a mixture of bigger brands as well as small businesses ( which in My view seem to like .now )…

When Amazon eventually runs a single ad, social post or promo of Amazon.now the floodgates will open.

All the early names (assuming you're buying quality ones) are worth $5k or more. So really you are one sale a year to breakeven quite easily. Might be tough sledding the first few years... but should catch up eventually. Hodl

Standard renewal is in the $31-38 range, some domains are priced at $100~ and others more.

I registered around 12 domains at the standard renewal rate.
