I was able to pick up these two names in the 5th day of EAP for a great price. All the highly targeted keywords like news and porn sold in the 2nd day of EAP for around $3,400 each. Please share any of your .now, and your thoughts on the potential future. For some reason, I prefer this extension to .deal that also is in EAP.

Did you suggest a price at all? Or leave it blank and they came up with $9k on their own?
Yes I had it at $17k
I should have left them all blank because I think the stronger names I submitted were priced $20-30k and likely got auto-rejected based on price

I have found something similar (Atom even discusses that somewhere in one of their blogs). If we list a price and it's too far from their suggestion, they will just deny the name to not upset the seller. However, on the flip side, when I leave it totally blank I end up with $2199 suggested pricing (for .coms). So I try to enter a low-ish but not no price. I surely do not recommend this strategy as most of my names are listed super low by them - and I see other sellers listed much higher

As for .now's... here you go. Pricing is all over the board (some low priced deals and some very high expectations).

btw - it is very difficult to find the .now's... as you saw from above you can't find them by searching for .now. You have to search, then do to the TLD list and click the 1 .now - and only then do you get to this page. I complained to Atom, hopefully they fix.

Agreed. I am happy Atom is getting ahead of it compared to other platforms.

Understood. So am I correct in thinking that you left it blank or did you put in a much higher suggested price and they put in $18999? (ignoring your suggestion)?
Declined premium altogether. Once you decline they delete the listing and you have to relist it.

I see alot of low priced domains not even 10% of what the .com is worth. Hopefully they will increase once the sales start coming in.

Hello Friends,
First of all My thanks and gratitude to @NameGroove and @doidomnola for their valuable insights on HomeInsurance (.) now. I really appreciate it and took their feedback into consideration. Today I registered a new .now domain. The domain I registered is Curate (.) now. It’s an action verb, and based on what I’ve seen, action verbs pair up really well with .now extension. I feel there can be numerous use-cases for this domain. One could be a platform where users can curate songs to their favourite playlists. Another could be a platform where users discover and curate Social Media posts, etc. Also, as per DotDb, it’s registered in 199 extensions. I’d love to know the insights on this domain from My more learned friends here at NamePros. Thanks…

Apologies, I'm not being clear.

When you submit a premium you can either have a BIN price or you can leave it as MO.

Prior to Atom's approval and $18,999 suggested price - what was your price? The suggested price you showed Atom before they approved it at $18,999?

I understand after they approved it you declined and re-listed. I'm trying to learn where and how they came up with the premium price of $18,999.

I like Curate. It was on my potential list. A lovely action verb and quite brandable with many use cases. To add to your list of ideas, Interior Designers also curate furniture collections for their clients.

The initial issue I saw was that CurateNow .com was regged in 2016 and is listed for sale at $2,000. However, I've come around to a new line of thinking more recently and have been registering names when the exact match .com is fs (especially when it is very low or very high). I think in both these cases it doesn't disturb me at all.

When it's priced very low (as this one is) I think the smart buyer would buy both. After all, pairing Curate .now with CurateNow .com allows the buyer to "own" the space and he can do so for only $2k over whatever you decide to list Curate .now for.

Good reg imo. Of course patience is required with a new TLD that is "brandable". It'll take some time for the right buyer to find it. Price appropriately and wait.

I priced $82.5k (20% of the .com valuation) with make offer

I mean what was the price you asked for BEFORE. The price you showed Atom when you SUBMITTED for Premium approval initially and paid your $1 coin?

Sorry for the confusion. That was the price before, $82,500. Atom only allowed $20,899 max if I was to be approved. So that and the commission of 25% is why I rejected it.

No worries. We aren't understanding one another. I'll stop asking.

As for pricing, it's interesting you have set 20% of .com price as the for sale price. I see others are asking for much less than that, e.g., 5%. It'll be interesting to see what they sell for.

Do you have any data on what .io sells for in comparison to .com? Is it ~20%?

I price differently and not based on another TLD besides .com for now. I price for the domain as exact match generic redirect. For example, Burgers .now could be used for a large retail chain. How much would "large burger chain" pay for an exact match as a redirect for marketing?

How much is the .com valued at? Visually speaking, with having no bias on the TLD history, Burgers .Now looks visually better than Burgers .com as a redirect imho. Currently Burgers .com forwards to Carl's Jr .com. This is one example.

Someone could also name a business "Burgers Now". There are many possibilities with this TLD. Times are changing and consumers are learning about TLDs other than .com, .net, .org etc. We are still early but .now passes the radio test for many Generic +.now combinations.

Again, just my opinion, price as you see fit.:xf.smile:

Someone came up with an idea (not saying that it's good or bad):
f*ckyou.now
f*ckit.now
f*ckoff.now

Still only 1 premium .now on Atom and 100 Standards showing up , not sure why all standards are not showing up. Hopefully both these figures will improve this week.

A variety of prices also , I guess some have priced with a short term view of flipping before renewal date while others have taking a medium / long-term pricing model.

I spoke with them about .now not showing. They are working on it
