I was able to pick up these two names in the 5th day of EAP for a great price. All the highly targeted keywords like news and porn sold in the 2nd day of EAP for around $3,400 each. Please share any of your .now, and your thoughts on the potential future. For some reason, I prefer this extension to .deal that also is in EAP.

.US domains.US domains
I ran another scan and identified more corporate domains since my last scan, including some from billion-dollar companies. I am now waiting for Google to flip the switch for their many companies.

Esri.now redirects to the .com too, interesting they also got gis.now which seems to be for their service GIS mapping.

Do you guys scan a list of your keywords/company names/Alexa top list or just see somewhere all the taken .now somehow?

I registered with Icann and pulled the .now zone file(full list of all the .now domains).

https://czds.icann.org/home

It's free but just takes a few days for approval. You get a full list of ALL the .now names. From there you just scan via excel or your own program.

Rejected at Atom today  Anyone getting names through recently? Or is your recent experience matching mine?

Try to check if they already have some other domains listed with the same exact SLDs and with stronger TLDs such as .ai, .io, .org etc

If they do - they might try to protect themselves from cannibalization inside their search results pages and this can explain the rejection.

Tires.now was rejected and has other no extensions in the Atom premium marketplace

Roof.now was approved and has both .ly and .io versions previously approved as well.

Honestly, there is no figuring out Atom's approval/rejection process. My weakest names were approved and strongest rejected.

I think the whole system is predominantly run by algorithms with very little human oversight (just a hunch)

They seem to have changed their minds on the .now gtld , no other reason for rejecting the names they have been rejecting. Many of us bought on the back of Atom accepting .now for premium but they are gone Cold. Now !! on us .

Nobody even replies to emails , not even an acknowledgement of receipt. Yet they keep adding more and more features further diluting a below par service. I have already started moving stock elsewhere.

Had an offer on a domain on Atom Standard last week and after accepting the offer, atom went AWOL , we completed the sale outside of Atom ...they are so behind on things they didn't even realize.

I think they are using Ai system to approve or reject without human intervention similar to Ai sh*t logo maker .

Maybe they think they already have too many .Now domains in their listings or maybe it's just a matter of who is the person on shift - that makes the last final decision about approving or not.

Just trying to find any logic here...

Sadly, I don't think this is the reason. My highest rated Ai appraisals (7.5 with >$40k dollar amounts) are getting rejected) while lower appraised ones are getting approved. For example, today's approval was rated at 5.8.

I agree with @Velo.me - I think they pulled back on their decision to accept .now and have dramatically slowed down approvals. Getting one through today means they haven't completely stopped, but acceptance rates are pitiful. And as @doidomnola said - it was not one of my strongest names, they rejected those yesterday. The whole thing makes absolutely no sense - and although no one in this thread answered my question directly - it appears I am not alone in reduced approval rates for .now recently based on your comments.

I have only 3 left in pending acceptance and will not submit any more names until I hear/see approval rates increasing again. No point submitting to get 30% approval rates. I think the rejected tag on appraisals does more harm than good long term (since both wholesale and retail buyers can see it) and will only chance it when I can get back to my ~70% average approval rates.

Does listing them on BrandBucket for now is worth considering ?

Someone selling .now's wholesale at $80 (I assume these were rejections). Some premiums fs wholesale at $125 & $250. Belief in the .now extension waning for some.

We really need a 2nd .now sale soon.

BB doesn't accept .now. Only com, ai, ly, io, and gg.
I feel .Now is something they’ll want to consider.

Do you know if anyone here contacted Margot or someone else for the their team and asked them about it?

I'd say no shot at all she accepts it (currently). She just did a re-check and added gg and ai. Literally just added .ai. Can you imagine? Anyway - reach out and ask... can't hurt!

I emailed Margot last week but no-reply.

Just my opinion, but with rare exception .gg and .ly names no place being in brandable marketplaces.

I have found her to be responsive, but a very determined woman who does it her way. Nothing wrong with that, as it's her company. My interactions with her do not suggest she'll be taking sellers suggestions in any serious way.

As for .ly and .gg - if they sell, they sell. From her perspective the names will sell. She's in touch with her buyers - so if they are asking for (or using) .ly and .gg - then I'm all for those TLDs being included. What is frustrating is when they get it wrong. BB sellers spent a lot of money and time to acquire and approve .me and then BB shut it down, citing no demand. Of course domaining is a tough biz - so it's understandable - just frustrating.

Sorry to hear that about your experience guys.

Anyway, I have a lot of respect for her and for Darpan for what they’ve built but I have no desire in listing my domains in any of these platforms.

Having say that, I’m all in for pushing all major platforms to accept .Now domains and help speed up the public acceptance for this cool TLD.
