I agree they should have, but eventually anyone hanging to ___now.com domains are going to see the value of those drop as .now gains traction.

HugeDomains has over 6000 names ending in now. It'll be interesting to see over the next couple years if they start letting many of those expire.

Hmmm, that's an interesting idea. I own a bunch of pairs. perhaps instead of selling separately, I'll forward. However, some buyers may want the .com version and this removes that as a possibility for them. I'll have to consider how best to proceed.

I think they'll be plenty of cases where the .now is becomes the name. Like hotelsdotcom, I can see a lot of value and recognition/authority branding a company as Eyeweardotnow
