I was able to pick up these two names in the 5th day of EAP for a great price. All the highly targeted keywords like news and porn sold in the 2nd day of EAP for around $3,400 each. Please share any of your .now, and your thoughts on the potential future. For some reason, I prefer this extension to .deal that also is in EAP.

I have read about the Xsheet you have been keeping , I think it is a great idea especially if people outside the .now bubble could get to see it and view all the live sites, redirects , coming soon pages , premium registrations etc... I do not see a huge benefit of it unless it is shared and promoted via Social media ?? Any thoughts on this ?

Food for thought, let me think about it.

It was something I was keeping updated for myself - if I release it, there would be different expectations about updates, correctness, etc.

Further, I'd have to remove some of the items on it (wholesale sales, wholesale offers).

This is an interesting post about the .io extension and what was selling somewhat early on (2020). I found it helpful

https://www.namepros.com/blog/types-of-io-domain-names-that-sell-and-where.1194658/

One could assume that sales for .now will mirror the learnings here. Some data that could help:
53% were common English nouns and only 5.5% were Spanish
47% of sales were 5L or less. 93% of sales were 10 characters or less.
<15% were plural.
Only 4.6% included numbers.
Only 11% were keyword+keyword

I would've loved to have seen the TLDs taken against the 5300 names - but Bob didn't run that data.

I didn't care about categories - cause .io could be chosen by certain categories such as crypto or tech - whereas .now could sell outside those categories. However the data above may be similar to how .now will perform.

It seems to me focusing on <10L english dictionary words without tense and without hypens or numbers put you in the best spot to sell. Outside those categories you better make darn sure you have a quality name (or price accordingly).

Everything above is just an opinion - although the 10 characters or less concept is corroborated by Atom's sales stats. So I'd reiterate to steer clear of 10+ character names unless you've got an incredible one.

Just picked up one of Velo's Atom .now premiums in Atom's wholesale marketplace. He's got a bunch of approved premiums selling for $29 - less than it cost for us to reg many of them last Oct and early Nov. If you're looking to build up your Atom Premium presence - still about a dozen left.
