This guy seems to have become quite popular on YouTube, Revver, and a few of those other sites with his video blog. Often pulling in a quarter million or more views per day.

My favorite thing about this is that .net, .us, and .everythingelse extensions are still available.
It's a great example, I think, of regular people using the domain with nice success... not just corporations.
