Hi Everyone,

On Friday, the team pushed an updated to the me.tv tools that allow users to grab from a larger selection of video sites:

Yahoo! Video (http://videos.yahoo.com )
Revver (http://one.revver.com)
iFilm (www.ifilm.com)
Veoh (www.veoh.com)
CollegeHumor (www.collegehumor.com)
MetaCafe (www.metacafe.com)
Grouper (www.grouper.com)
BrightCove (www.brightcove.com)
Break (www.break.com)
DailyMotion (www.dailymotion.com)
BlipTv (www.blip.tv)
ExpertVillage (www.expertvillage.com)

**Please note taht there are certain clips that cannot be Grabbed as they are set as private or non-syndicatable (i.e., no embed code available). We are working on refining the code to be better able to understand whether a video is Grabable, and if there are work-arounds we can do (such as allowing you to log into your (for example) youtube account to be able to grab the video. We have a lot more features coming up in our next release and will keep this group posted.

Thanks Quinn - that's great! - I was actually trying to figure out how to "grab" the Rosie O'Donnell video about Ellens contract where Rosie says she's not able to talk about being gay. I'm on Brightcove now but so far haven't had any luck - guess it not "syndicatable(sp) - oh well - guess I'll just have to go interview Rosie and Ellen my self on my own .TV channel!!!!!!

Thanks Rogue for asking this question, it is one of my concerns as well. If I may add to your question: Quinn for those of us who may temporarily want to launch a channel on the DM network that is business related will there be a way to capture data of those that become members of the site? For example, if I host xyz site on DM network and end up with a following of 5000 members and decide I want to launch a direct the domain onto my own platform can I take member data with me or will that be DM's data?

For example, I want to turn AntiqueMall.tv into a site where my members can upload high end antiques to be displayed in my 'mall' for a fee. I need a shopping cart, data upload capabilities for my members, membership data that I can verify, a store front with a neutral or relevant template.

I'd love to stay with DM to build out all my .Tv websites......The tools mentioned here in this post so far would be great.......I was able to upload the above videos - learning curve on my part! - Gotta love it!!! - Cate
