Moving on from the 3D, Cloud , NFC, Marijuana etc....trends, what do people think will be the next big money maker for the domainer?

I have a few Big Data domains but I like my hand in several dishes so if anyone would like to share their thoughts I'm sure a lot of domainers would appreciate any insights to what's gonna be hot or not.

I wouldn't bother with "4U" and 4You" names, there are not a lot of reported sales with thee names, try and never mix numbers and letters when domaining

From past experience, the only ones that seem to work are "247" or "360" on the end of a good keyword

4u and 4you was popular in the 90s and maybe early 2000s...but it appears to be just now catching on in countries like India, Bangladesh and some European countries. These people will push a 4u/4you like it's a EMD.com with full confidence!

What's everyone's thoughts on AI ?

I am going to take a punt on a few AI domains , first two are above ^ but do have a few more ....

Do you guys have any ? whilst i was searching through i was quite amazed at just how many had already been registered , thus making me think there may be some chance.

I think consumer terms are better than tech insider terms when it comes to sellability and how valuable a DN is. AI, is kind of a techie insider term more than a consumer/shopper term. People use things with AI every day and don't realize it, because it's not being marketed under the term "AI". So I'm not sure if investing in AI domains is a good idea, unless you have an industry defining term .com, like ArtificialIntelligence.com or AISoftware.com. Much of the AI hype has passed over as well, since it's been a topic of on going discussion possibly since the 60s and 70s.

But then again, this is all my opinion and why I haven't registered any AI domains anyway...

Hi guys. I'm a member too but just haven't been around here forever. Looked up my name and saw this thread. Thanks.

It took months not days and I spent a lot of money to make it all come together, not to mention that I have contacts in this industry and have spent years developing my business and skills.. It wasn't just the money to buy the domain. I marketed and produced an auction and spent my time and energy finding buyers. By the time the auction rolled around the name was peaking on traffic. It's all about luck right ? The intersection or preparedness and opportunity. I've had plenty of failures guys.
