Moving on from the 3D, Cloud , NFC, Marijuana etc....trends, what do people think will be the next big money maker for the domainer?

I have a few Big Data domains but I like my hand in several dishes so if anyone would like to share their thoughts I'm sure a lot of domainers would appreciate any insights to what's gonna be hot or not.

Cheers

Stu

Beware that the terms that are in Wikipedia don't always become the names that we come to know technologies by. Sometimes the insider industry names are not marketable and so companies create their own savvy lingo....so don't go on a buying spree with the term used in Wikipedia unless you're sure that it's going to be savvy lingle used marketed to consumers (which can sometimes be trade marketed by the company who coined the lingo first).

The concept of SWS can be seen as an extension and integration of the wearable electronics (wearable computers) and intelligent textiles concepts (e-textiles) from isolated to fully (web) connected systems thus enabling provision of a new category of products, services and solutions.

My "beware" was more of a statement about info on Wikipedia than it was a specific reply about SWS. SWS or "Smart Wearable Systems" may very well be a valuable keyword to invest in, I have no idea. It's just worth noting that it will ultimately be the term marketed that is the most valuable, which isn't always the insider "techie" / "nerd" reference, but more likely the "savvy geek" reference....

Currently it's Imagination but may happen in future..

Companies will start their own registry to deal with customers..

Just like E-mail Id or subdomains, they will use the registry.

example - Google

portal.google
Search.google
mail.google
blogger.google
webmaster.google
maps.google
android.google
sales.google
submit.google
crawl.google
plus.google
archive.google
support.google

Can registry operators restrict the domain registration just like .us .eu etc??
If this happens, this will kill domaining..!! what you guys think ?? :rolleyes:O_o

Lol.. There will be registry re sellers then, new industry will popup ;):D

I prefer trends that have ripened for 2-3 years but gone unnoticed anyway:
