Doron Vermaat of DNGeek has shared yet another useful post about the some startups and their (domain) names.
Here is an excerpt from the article:
"Here we are again with a list of 53 startups that raised almost 2 billion dollars in funding last week. With 86% of domains in the .Com extension it is obvious once again that not many startups want to compromise on their domain name ending which I believe is directly linked to a lot of bad naming decisions."
Most startups are using their .COM version except with some that went for .io and .in. Although with the .COM version, many of them had to compromise. Not getting to find the exact match, some of them went for names like uHoo went for uHooInc.com, 8Wood went for Buy8Wood.com and so on.
