Newly funded startups and their (domain) names

Last week we saw 71 newly funded startups that raised a combined $230,582,000 in funding but also faced the challenge to name and “domain” themselves.
Most of the startups go for rebranding/renaming after securing some decent round of funding.

We see 64% of companies launched on .com and the ccTLDs coming in second again with 18%.Ota Expert, a startup that offers competitor-based smart-pricing technology for hotels uses the new GTLD .Expert as their domain.

With the exception of a few such as EasyBook.com and Frame.io I would say most of these look like BB rejects. In the 21st century we should not be ending "domainz" with a z. Nor should we ever be using hyphens to launch companies.
