Newbie here....Can you sell a domain name when it still has lock on it?

I bought some domains with different registrars (1and1, go daddy, domains by proxy, etc). And they still have 50-60 days lock on them. Can I still put them for sale, let's say on Sedo or Afternick? If yes, what is the process of actual transferring them to the purchaser (if domains sell) in this situation?

Domains which still have transfer lock can still be sold and pushed at the same registrar.

What if buyer doesn't want to keep the same register, is it pretty normal for them to wait 2 months? If I post the domain for sale on Sedo or some other service, do I need to list it as 'locked' domain? thank you

I wouldn't worry too much about it. Most people will create account if they don't have one to receive the push. But I wouldn't list my 1and1 domains with Buy Now until the lock has expired because you cannot push 1and1 domains. Because 1and1 are such a crappy registrar, I would insist they are transferred out of 1and1.
