I need ideas to make TelephoneMenus.com a great site. It is a place where people can see Automated Phone System menus so they can get to the right place quicker.

I recently registered http://www.telephonemenus.com and set up a wiki on it. Here is the concept I have:

http://www.gethuman.com/us (originally paulenglish.com) receives a ton of traffic and had a lot of news reports done on it. They all say the same thing, "Hot to BEAT the automated phone systems." Well, I also hate having to deal with crappy phone menus, and I agree that companies should follow GetHuman's standards. I don't think providing everyone with ways to just get to any human operator is a very good idea. Phone menus are annoying, but in the end, they get you to someone who is trained specifically to meet your needs.

I worked for Discover, and that place was broken into a ton of different departments. If someone got through to me and had a problem that another department had to handle, I didn't have some magical number I could call to get them there quicker. I just transfered them there. The 2 minutes it took me to decipher what the person was saying I could have used to help someone who took a few seconds to get to the right department.

Anyway, I thought http://www.phonemenus.com had already come up with the idea to just provide the menus and allow consumers to do what they wanted with them. But doing a quick search shows that they just copy the GetHuman approach.

So the goal of TelephoneMenus.com is to provide a place where people can look up the menus they are about to navigate, that way they don't have to listen to the entire menu and that way they can have a plan of approach before calling.

I would appreciate any ideas you have on making the site better. I have many plans to get content, including calling the menus myself and paying NP$ for members to call them.
